One of the teams in my company has been working on a statistics webpage for football - it's public now but still in beta stage, experiencing some performance problems. Well Giggs obviously won more trophies but I wouldn't call him a much greater player than Zanetti, he played a winger in his younger days and he was quite pacy so he scored a bit more and assisted in creating goals a lot more, he was up front while Zanetti was a silent hard worker who you could rely on 100% and even him (in his younger days) had this incredible ability to pick up a ball from his own half and end up shooting on goal. Their work ethics is beyond today's age of slimy whiny imbeciles who think they're superstars, the only "bad thing" for Giggs was the fact he fucked his brothers wife, a scandal which he really didn't need but he's already a Man Utd Legend and I recon fans will accept it as being "just human, like everyone else". I'm a great fan of both these players, and I must say: 15 years ago I despised Man Utd and If you told me one day I'd actually "support" them I'd laugh at your face and call you a moron. Today I prefer them over artificial clubs like Chelsea & Man City any day, if nothing else: because of these few legends like Giggs and Fergie. Yes, they have the shitty Glazers and all that but still I don't think they sold out their pride & history completely, like some other clubs. Its slowly happening right now, tho so in a season or two I don't think I'll be able to see anything good in Man Utd. 
Inter is another club I always despised but since these few legends like Zanetti & Samuel still play combined with the fact they're generally so pathetic as a club (and their scores as well, I'm a betting man) makes me almost feel sorry for them and kinda sympathetic.

Yes I agree he always showed level of professionality above average, I respect him for that, but I know few things about him and his argentine clan that make me annoyed pretty much. There are guys that, even though are thought to be mercenary assholes still showed the same level of professionality, like Ibrahimovic;  he deserves all my respect, an asshole who still gives 110% in every single game, even if it's against west ham or OM, he's a good player, a retarded, but still a good professional.
