I dunno man, people slaughter cook and eat those things all the time, cute domestic animals or not, to some people its just dinner.  Half the time they aren't treated all that humane in executions anyways.  Hell we usually boil crabs or lobsters alive in America and probably every other country still as the preparation method.

Even if it was a fucking goat I'd say the same thing, as Smooth said lobsters are boiled alive, stop being sad just because this is a fucking mammal pet, and fish basically get caught with a hook through their mouth and then they get their brains beaten 'till they're dead, sound humane? Being sentenced with anything else than not being allowed to own a pet for brutally murdering an animal is fucking silly. Also, my way of dealing with bugs in my house is catching them on a piece of tape, throwing them in the toilet, pissing on them, and then flushing them down the drain, I doubt I'd be charged for that, and you know why? 'cause it's not a mammal and because PETA doesn't like bugs.

I remember quite clearly stating that his friend could charge him with theft, besides that, it's just a fucking dog, and one of my cats was brutally severed into a shitload of smaller pieces after running out on the road and getting run over by one of those machines that are used to harvest crops.

Last night in IRC Tydeus implied basically that there was a crash, and then said the problems lasted so long was cuz their host's tech support never replied to their help request. I guess cuz it was late night EU time and nobody around, so it had to wait until next day.

In Poland 2 guys got sentenced to 2 or 3 years in prison for killing a dog. They were dragging dog tied to a string behind a car till dog fell apart. I'd say it's fucking silly to deny that they got what they deserved. 

And bugs aren't animals according to protection of animals acts in most (or even all) countries.

Yeah but its a rodent.  Ever see a cat play with a mouse before it kills it?  Or what a mouse trap does to small rodents?  I don't believe in animal cruelty either but as far as legislating and enforcing it to any standards, it seems pretty grey.  Especially with retarded ass hamsters that deserve to be punted across a football field.

I could not give less of a fuck what the protection of animals acts say, bugs are animals, so are fish, so are lobsters, the entire point is I think the laws are idiotic in general, and those two Poles don't deserve 2-3 years for killing an animal in a barbaric way, I doubt the rest of Poland will be very friendly with them for the future anyhow.

Lobsters and bugs don't have an advanced nervous system, so most likely they can't even feel pain. There's a simple experiment you could try to prove it. Find a bug and pull one of its legs off. You'll notice that besides a bit of a limp the bug is still able to function pretty well. Now cut one of your legs off and see how well you can function. Then come back here and tell me there's no difference between cruelty to insects and mammals.

Oh and isn't there a long history of serial killers who murdered little animals while they were young, before they moved up to bigger game?
