In my defense the guy did team wound me at spawn and QMLD me as well , but that is besides the point, Sorry for my racist comment and it wont happen again. Honeydew made a mistake, I've seen far worse comments that only result in a mute from admins.  Admins are like the US government in this damn community, if you're friends they'll let shit slide, if you're not they screw you in the brown eye (aka Anus, aka colon)....STOP THE OPPRESSION OF THE POPULACE!

Badplayer, i cant count the amount of times that you say racist remarks and stupid insults in game, your just a huge troll and thats the only reason why i got banned, because you look for little things to get people in trouble. So then you went crying to your friend shik and of course if your good friends with an admin or dev you get all the special privileges now don't you. It would of beenso much easier to mute me then to give me a week ban.

I have to agree with this.  Also, 1week??  Seems a bit excessive considering he hasnt been banned before for this.

I'm sure you will, but I've seen numerous racial slurs used, and never have I seen 1 week bans.  Yes, he should be punished, a warning, a light ban, this is the principle that he was banned for 1 week, over 1 comment...come on now, I've seen people make characters with worse names then that statement, and just be told to change it. 

This boils down to him getting a 1 week ban over 1 remark, not even a warning or a day ban with a future circumstance if it happens again he'll get this week ban, but for it to just instantly be 1 week over one comment...come on now.

1 week , first of all i have seen people with the SS banner run around and say "friend" and other racist comments when admins are on , but o wait people that have admins in their clan don't get in trouble? Is that how the fucking system works? And just because i said that does not mean that i have to get a one week ban, that's just restarted. No offence but just because one "Admin" (Not naming names) is Asian does not mean that the punishment has to be more then it should be. It was one stupid comment that i made and i apologized for it. I mean come on you let a guy run around with the name "Negga" and that's not racist at all.

Condoning racial slurs isn't what I am after here, in the rules there is no "level" of severity of offense, since this happens to be racial it's greater?  He made a mistake, and he's not a repeat offender, therefore almost always people will get a stern warning, or a 1 day ban.  Obviously something is a bit one sided here if he gets 1 week instantly...there is a clear showing of emotion on behalf of the admin and admin "friend helping".  I have only seen week bans to people who consistently break rules, not it happening once and insta ban...you know this and so does the admin. 

It's the principle behind the ban not the act itself that makes this look a bit as an "insiders job".  If this comment resonates with the admin and he becomes emotionally involved with such a comment he needs to step back and have another admin take a look at this ban, because once you're upset emotionally you're judgment is subjective.

Yeah my Call of Duty clan is called the Schutzstaffel and we roleplay massacring jews. It's historical so if we didn't do that, it would just be stupid I think.

You say it's not okay to use the word "chink" in any context whatsoever, and even in joking it would be wrong. But yet here you post about roleplaying the massacre of jews, then you say it would be stupid if you didn't. I don't know about you, but the holocaust isn't something you'd joke about either, in any context. If you truly do feel so strongly about racism, then you shouldn't be joking about such atrocities like the genocide of jews. The holocaust, can and is sometimes defined as a form of racism, ie prejudice against a certain people, because of their religion, race, or nationality.

Honeydew did sincerely apologize, and should be unbanned, or shortened at least. A one week ban is excessive, especially for someone who doesn't have much of a ban history (he's been banned once for 12 hours for tking a friend).

Did he get punished? Or any scouraging of any kind?

If not then honeydew should be unbanned. If cmp was lashed upon, let the same thing happen to honeydew.
