Unless it was patched out in the last few months, WoTR has a perk that guarantees an unblockable counter-attack after blocking.

In addition, clients decide whether or not they hit somebody - so if somebody with 200 ping swings at you, it is impossible to manually block in time.

I think archers were actually buffed this last patch.  2 weight on quivers is nothing when you are already carrying like 30 weight in equipment.

On the other hand, we got some awesome 0 slot weapons, so that rocks for archers.
