GG my level 33 build is also now useless with the 2 slot crossbow.  Not only did it nerf the 2h heroes but the few of us xbow shielders out there.  To be effective I will now need to invest in a 0 slot cut weapon which will severely limit my ability to hurt the plate/str crutchers like my build was designed against. Doing this also forces most crossbow users to go the arb route because now it makes no sense NOT to take the arb. I think this decision will impact the weapon diversity more than any change in the patch so far.


Now you know how the slot patch messed with a few archer builds or the horse patch messed with a few cav builds.

It's really just the price we pay for having post-30 builds.
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

I think these are brilliant!
very happy with them all, including making archery a bit more interesting to watch with the 0 slot swords and crossbows were handled very well. AND new horses will give it a nice mix! oh and not forgetting the shielders!
Good job with it all, I am very happy :D
oh and the pop up on c-rpg.net to help out new ones is a great idea to populate the mod :D

You will edit stats of Spathovaklion,knockdown,speed rating,...?
It won't be any change on Spathovaklion (except bs stab)?

I think they inadvertently buffed horse crossbows in this patch. 2h/pole users can't carry a crossbow sidearm anymore, so there will be even fewer threats to HX.

Even phewer threats to cavalry in general, not just HX. Haha see what I did there? Phewer.

Although this loadout is now possible:
Spathion
1 slot shield (like the ridiculous OP Hand Pavise that is basically a Knightly heater with 2x the durability)
Pike (OR fauchard+1 stack of throwing weapons)

That's a lancer's worst nightmare, and just as capable in melee as a regular shielder.

Considering that it doesn't have knockdown and apparently doesn't actually have a stab, Spath is pretty much on par with the Military Sickle. So before you loom the Spath, ask yourself if you would be happy with a Military Sickle with a different texture. Personally, I'd trade 4 length to get 1 more blunt damage+knockdown (Iberian).

Ok, so I'm pretty sure we can all agree that overall this has been a pretty cool patch. However that said, I would like to know when the new exp system will be implemented and the multiplier gone.

All the new items look good, and the nudge feature is nice, but it only works with my shielder. I can't do it with my 2h while other people can.

In case it matters, I used to have "V" bound for unsheathing before. I rebound it but it still does not work with my 2h.
