GG my level 33 build is also now useless with the 2 slot crossbow. Not only did it nerf the 2h heroes but the few of us xbow shielders out there. To be effective I will now need to invest in a 0 slot cut weapon which will severely limit my ability to hurt the plate/str crutchers like my build was designed against. Doing this also forces most crossbow users to go the arb route because now it makes no sense NOT to take the arb. I think this decision will impact the weapon diversity more than any change in the patch so far.
This. There are far-reaching implications involved in changing all of those to 2 slots. 2 handers/xbows got hit hardest because we have NO 0 slot weapons to speak of, and only 1 weapon in the 2h category that is 1 slot(without resorting to a 1h in secondary mode).
This means that 2h/xbow is limited to using langes messer, fighting axe, or the mace(the only 1 slot 2h).
Speaking of which...I have a MW mace that the value just skyrocketed on. Any interest out there?
EDIT: Other builds got hit pretty hard as well. With all of these changes, I do think a free respec is in order.
