Balance over realism. 2h animations are superior to 1h. Devs want to reduce kiting, give the archers a wep that's good that they can use, but isn't blunt or pierce, for balance. It was a great idea imo

Great patch.

I like that they have expanded on the slot system. More 0 slot items is nice.
Good to see that knives&daggers have been buffed.
It's nice to see all the new items that have been added. Lots of cool new items and pixel porn. Although some of them are hillariously unbalanced compared to some of the already exisisting items. E.g. Paramerion compared to Long Arming and Eastern Horse to Palfrey.

i dont rly understand the new quivers /weight system but u dont look so slow with quivers
so as hi lvl archer it look like a good thing
but as low level archer it should be harder to level up an archer
btw the leatcher scaled look sexy all archers will wear it =p

DEVS U DID GOOD JOB ON THAT PATCH, MAYBE CONTINUE IN THAT WAY AND GIVE US A FREE RESPEC PLZ !!!!

We need 0 slot Pavise only for covering body back purpose with full bulletroof from behind. If Devs want more dedicated xbows give this to us and  i am sure a lot of guys will become

wow you ALMOST made wakizashi popular, but you can't have yumi + wakisashi + 2x arrows  :cry: :cry: :cry:

Im guessing this has been brought up but: 0 slot spathion, a mistake? and Spathovaklion 30 pierce lolwut.  :shock:

also FINALLY steel pick nerf, although very minor.  :mrgreen:

seems like a good patch all around, not looking forward to mele vs archers now tho ;/

edit: so spathion is intended 0 slot, sorry but that is going to be extremely op no matter the cost.

Board Shield must be 2 slot, as it is 8 weight. Forget any board shield but the Heavy Board Shield though, the Old/Plain Board Shields got 1/4 Body Armor and not enough Health to do anything with them. :)

Good additions though, I like the faceplate helmets and the new Hand Pavise Shield.
