I'll put my name down for this as I often feel that Meow needs some help, much like what Karasu said, even if it is just splitting the workload a little.

I'm pretty sure I am well known and easily reachable (and approachable) since I idle on IRC all the time I am at my computer and even when I am not online, I keep my VPS recording messages sent to me so I will pick them up when I get back.

I think this job best suits my mannerisms of typing in full sentences with punctuation that I continually get moaned about in game and given that I already try and help people where I can. (More or less a basic requirement of being an admin I guess)
As with both my Forum Moderation & In-game Administrative duties I will take the same approach so I can guarantee you'll have my full attention should an issue arise.

I already handle name changes so that isn't an issue.

Anyway, always willing to help out should I be needed, just shout.

Edit: Do people think I am the lesser evil here or something?

I would like to apply for this one aswell, allthough I have no real knowledge about irc.

Im always on the forums and with a reason i'd always be in irc aswell.

If this doesn't take any technical knowledge about coding or whatever i'd like to give it a shot.

I forgot to mention that I usually browse through the forums/web through my Ipad2(i know its shit!), if this should cause any problems scratch this application.

Could do this for Russian speaking part of community, since I'm already forum admin there. & I'm online 5-10 hours a day.
Of course I could help English speaking players as well. 

i think having a russian speaking would indeed be a good asset to the team.

I'd be up for this, I'm on IRC literally 24/7 due to using ircCloud which stores logs automatically and highlights any keyword I want.


I've helped troubleshoot before on irc and still answer direct queries from people looking for help.

There are already plenty of good candidates, but if more are needed I'm volunteering.

- helping people that somehow screwed up

Already do that on IRC when able (I'm usually on while at work during the NA daytime/EU evening)

- retrieve passwords, accidental retirements, etc etc
- accept name changes

I already do name changes as admin, and would be happy to expand what I'm able to do.

- basic knowledge of irc, as well as idling-mentality, is mandatory

Done and done.


Finally, I'm rarely cranky and believe myself to be generally well received by the community.

I'd like to apply for a position in the Support team, I love to help people and I've been the go to guy for technical support with computers/steam/applications/software/hardware for 90% of my steam friends list (over 200 people) for a few years now.  I'm usually always on the forums, and only stopped going to IRC recently due to annoyances with petty drama.

I would happily apply for any of the other positions, as I've dinked around with .BRF files and weapon stats in the past while playing around with the module system, but I feel like I'd be best in a community support position, whether that be just NA admin or a role similar to Meow's (my forum hero).


EDIT:  It should probably be mentioned that I've been active in the community since mid 2010, and have progressed from an annoying brat to a competent forum regular, and I feel like I'm well liked by most of the community, excluding my strategus enemies of course.

I guess we shall see how the people receive this

Like MrShine said, plenty of awesome canditates but, hell, we always need people to help I think!

As I chat more than I play the game; I read every single chat even at the climax of a fight (explain my horrible K:D), I really think I can help, anyway even if you don't pick me, I'll do it so why not picking me!

I can also help French people and can bring help on market, build, loom, pretty anything this game has to offer!

As an NA admin for almost 2 years now, I already perform much of these functions along with idling in IRC.

I feel I would fit right into this role with little to no transition time and could provide a unique admins insight as well.

As an NA admin already I have been checking the name changes log every night before I go to sleep during the week.

I would love to have the other responsibilities to help out when someone asks for help in IRC.
