I worked about 10 hours this weekends and I did it! I made universal programme for install submods on crpg. There are 3 submods in the archieve: Heirloom Models and 2 my submods. For Heirloom Models i made xml file by myself. It's about 3 hours of boring copy paste work, and i really deserve  some vodka )

Please report me about bugs and mistakes in my lousy english )

P.S. Final_Boss, please make heirloom horses!
Does it just have Final_Boss's Heirloom models, or does it have both the Hundred Years War and the Heirloom models?

Nvm there is an option in the application to choose which sub-mods you would like to implement to your cRPG folder, nice and easy thanks for this Warham :)

Edit: It seems you only have the two-hand heirloom models in this, is there anyway you can put in what Final_Boss has done into one for now?

I would also like to have only the heirloom package. As good as the installer and mods might be, no offence, I'm not comfortable running executables from unknown source. I have quite many mods in c-rpg already and wouldn't like to start repairing the folder in case something is wrong. Could you add a link to heirloom pack without installer? Fixed items.txt will do also.

Good work Warham, I'll get a patched version up soon.

Kafein and Warham have stepped in and created a script that updates item_kinds1.txt correctly! I'll post an updated version soon.

How to install
-STEP 1- put each file in the resource folder in your "modules/crpg/resource" folder
-STEP 2- put the textures in "crpg/textures"
-STEP 3- MAKE A BACKUP COPY of "crpg/item_kinds1.txt" and paste the new one from the .zip (in case something breaks)
-STEP 4- edit "crpg/module.ini" and add the follwing lines below the line "load_mod_resource = kazakh_armor"
"load_mod_resource = finalboss_bows"
"load_mod_resource = finalboss_arrows"

let me know the good and bad!

That's the plan... We need to make a script that automagically updates "item_kinds1.txt" every time it gets patched.

EDIT: I installed the mod and right away noticed that picking up non loomed highland claymore gives you claymore on the back with nodachi in hands.
It is bug, and i fix it. Thanks for reporting.

It is possible if anyone run programme on his computer and then publish item_kinds1.txt. You also can just buckup item_kinds1.txt, and then replace it if you want to uninstall heirloom models.

Why does it only have a few 1hand models, when all the 1hand models are done?

Maybe these bows and arrows are made for carnival?  :P

But nice work Boss...

By the way;
You forgot to add some arrows as flying_missiles in the item_kind.txt.
There are no flying arrows when you use some quivers.
Please check this.

You forgot to add some arrows as flying_missiles in the item_kind.txt.
There are no flying arrows when you use some quivers.

When do you think there will be a script that has all the 1h+2h+archery models?

Also, how are do you use openBRF to look at the heirloom models?

So.. I can install this new arrows pack, copy his file item_kind1.txt and then, after that, run the Warham script to install the 1h and 2h textures into the new item_kind1.txt with no problem?
By the way I just did it, I will test it now, be back soon.  :D
