Why is it always night time when I play?

I've tried playing at different times of the day and night, and on different servers. No matter what it's always night time in the game. Is this normal?

Currently(since the hotfix) day/night transitions are disabled and it's locked at 18 o' clock.

There are at least 2 enemies on the screen ~5 seconds away from me. Took this yesterday on a new map. This was in the slightly brighter part of the map. o_O

I switched to DX9 where the darkness is a little less extreme, but night time still makes my eyeballs strain to the point of me not wanting to put effort into anything. A change would be lovely and most appreciated.

Try toggling HDR and the lighting settings. I know mine is really dark with HDR either on or off, I don't remember which, though. Try changing it from what its at to the other and see if that helps.

I just turned up my Gamma setting.

same here, I hate night so much that sometimes I just give up playing. And how awesome it is when u play when its night in game and outside the sun burst with shine straight on ur monitor. Just blindness and rage quit.

Can we at least get the clock stuck in day time, where 80%+ of historical battles took place
