Xbow accuary

I quote myself from a other thread

Xbow accuary seems to be bugged, yesterday (0200) it was very accurate maybe too accurate. Today (0201) it's more like before patch, but sometimes it changed while I'm playing and it get further or closer. Like he is taking the zoom crosshair to the normal crosshair.

I've got the same problem, but could that come from rain?
In Single Player loading screens it says xbows are less effective in rain.
Maybe the xbow just doesn't know when it rains and when not?

I think it's possible that the weather you see may not be the weather actually on the server. I think this happens when you join a server midway through a round. You will be shown the correct weather but the server does not change the weather mid game, only on each new map and so you get raining accuracy xbows during a bright sunny day.
Maybe you are not bad, but you are a boring person. Well, that's the end of the matter.

This has happened to me too. One round I noticed my reticule was much bigger than usual. Can't say for sure but it did feel like the zoom crosshair had become the normal crosshair.  Also, the problem was gone on the next round, without mapchange or anything so I don't think the weather had effect.

For what I know, bad weather only effects on crossbow damage and the bolts speed, so that you can't shoot as far as usual and you do less damage.

I've noticed the weather thingy on crpg servers too. When a new map starts it may be very foggy and rainy for everyone, but if you simply rejoin the server you might get nice and clear sky, but still suffer the negative effects of the rain.

When you apply stats using the "c" menu your crossbow reticule is increased for that round. Weather doesn't affect accuracy but it affects bolt speed and damage by a lot.

Would be nice to fix it.

I really can't add stats to my xbowman, because after pressing "C" my reticule becomes MUCH bigger. Usually, it is big enough that shoting from 10 meters is impossible...

It's enough to just level up actually. It can allso randomly happen while just standing around, or aiming, or jumping while aiming among other things... The only thing that realiably induce this bug is the level up.

Yeah, the bonus didn't get properly recalculated after stats are modified.
Should be fixed in next patch.
