Now you often see Kastu doing good as the last player, killing multiple players on his own, but that is only half of what makes a skilled player. The other is the ability to read battle, to know where to go, to know where to fight to have the most effect on your teams chances of victory.

I hate to flatter him, but Chase is the best battle player due to his ability to be where has to be. Then there is his ability to do very well with all the classes he plays. Kastu just plays battle in a way that makes him look good, while not being that great for the winning chances of his team.

You've never seen Kastu when he's playing serious? I know it's a quite rare phenomenon, but he could easily carry a team as a lancer. Uljas_Kastu_the_Rohirrim. Unstoppable.

He was more than a great polearmer and lancer and he is epic at chambering  and he played more classes than those I mentioned and he was good in every class

Yeah well, massassin is exactly a perfect example of a playstyle that makes you look good, while only touching on the base combat skills. He does not often have a huge effect on his team's winning chances. I play EU_1 all the time and I have never seen him as a polearmer and as a lancer he was not that impressive.

The_Finn made me want to go cav, plus the way he just rode around on his plated charger pwning everyone while not giving a fuck about who came after him was just amazing.
Temlolz_Alpha, First guy I met on cRPG nice guy also made me want to go cav/polearm.
Fuma makes me want to try 1h no shield because his so good at running in-between people.
Hurkkutatti even though his a dick and a huge asshole his f**king good and the way he kills people with a stick just makes me laugh.
Tor he always seemed to 1-2 hit people and kick so many 2heasymodenoobs asses.
Cooties saw him in my first week of playing with that lush pink hair lolstabing anyone who came near yet also using great footwork and always working with his team to support each other.
Can't forget Khorin and thomek them spammy ninjas always made me wonder what its like to play as one.

Oberyn, Torben and Hideyoshi. I had a very hard time encountering them as enemies on the beggining of rounds in crazy and funny horse fights.

When I started the game two years ago:

-I remember _LaHire_ on siege who used to be around the top. Spectating him was quite entertaining.

-Phyrex. Great fighter in the way that he was the most aggressive player out there. He was like Ivani4 with close to perfect blocking.

-JackieChan. I soon realised why he harrassed me with buying the game : He wanted to show me his UberPr0SkillZ with HA. And damn he did.

-Highglandeur. On siege as well. Not only was his name very cool, he was good at fighting.

-Kinngrimm. When I wasn't good enough to block his feints and kick, this guy was my bane. I remember ending a round with him vs 8 of us. His shield never broke. Neither did he. He took us down one by one and won the round.

-I think its Micah. Saw him play agi and light armor and he was spectacular at fencing.

-Leoking. He made me want to play 1h.

Many others impressed me at the time, but that was two years ago, so I can't recall very well :s

The only player I admire at this time is Mr. Clumsy Hands ( yes, Mister) , KpuBopy4ka.

I can safely say that this guy is better than I am at duelling. Hell, I think he's the best out there.When I beat him, it's not through skill, it's through luck (apart from one time when I poured so much juice that I couldn't think straight for the rest of the day).

EDIT: After seeing who plus-ed me, I forgot the OTHER man I greatly admire : Cheatrex ! The only man in crpg to not use our community-wide used tool !

Other players who are not 'heroes' but who I greatly respect for their skills are , amongst many others,Teeth, Hearst, Byrdi, Atze, Alexjei ,Herezy, Tretter, Butan, Dieler, Bjord, Vagabond, TheWolf, Blueberrymuffin, DaveUKR, La3nir,Serr, Tony,Royanss,Tizzango, Cyber, Hideyoshi, Decky,Hagur,
sigh, the list is too long, and I'm probably missing some very good players again.
