Back in the olden days, when levels were high, grind was plenty, the server was one and the resets were common:

Oberyn and Gnjus

In the olden days lvl's weren't high...although the grind I grant you, it was mostly for gold though. chadz released the grind stats of the earliest versions, I think there were 2 or 3 lvl 31's and a whole bunch of 30's and lower. It was quite a few versions after that 31+ lvls became a common thing, going all the way up to lvl 40.

I remember when I first started playing, my first battle: Goretooth was on the other team, and he was standing alone with about 10 of my allies encircling him, and he slaughtered every one of them with his Bec of Doom. It was like a scene from a movie. No other crpg moment is seared into my memory like that one.

Well I also have to mention Vex, remember him doing some crazy stuff with his maul, like jumping from a roof with overhead that kills a guy and Vex dies too because of fall damage

I remember when I first started playing this was a common occurrence. No matter the odds, if they had Goretooth on their team, even if it was him alone, there was no hope.

Damn, so much nostalgia. Makes me yearn to play this again....and makes me wish I was around for the early versions with the crazy weapons and XP barns. Maybe they'll do another form of X-MAS RPG or whatever it was called again, but an NA version. Would love to get to try what everyone reminisces about.

Cyranule, he was a fucking monster before he went 2h (he's still good, but he was one of the best shielders back then).

Allers, honestly, I've seen the guy take on 3 - 4 two handers at once using nothing but his fists.  As much as he trolls, he's a really damn good player.
