i voted yes but to be honest i dont care if they have a requierement or not
if i compare to some other medieval games every class have a free range weapons to conpensate against archers i guess (best way to balance a game imo )
and when inf rage about to many range on server, inf can still defend / atack at long range with 0 pts in xbow and kill some ppl...
who said easy mode ?? =p

imo the problem is more to see some xbow realod faster than i reload my bow ...  the faster crossbow should be still slower than the slowest bow
or one shot some guys with heavy armor / hp with mw arbalest + mw bolts
nerf mw arba imo ...

do you rly think devs will add something like that when they work to an other project ??

That's because, at this very moment, you have plenty of WPF. Good try, though.

I change my class on regular basis (unlike the loudest lobbyists on this forum) so it probably wouldn't affect me, if/when this sort of change would come into effect.

The thing is that crossbowmen's melee capabilities are nerfed as a side effect of your suggestion. So if the problem is ranged I don't think the solution should also limit melee.

- Power draw add 15% to damage to a maximum of +3 PD requeriment for bow. Do you want xbowers gain a 15% of damage por each power reload?

It make no sense. A huge nerf without any advantage. At least, on EU, xbowmans are a extint race. Only few HX, and two arbalests per map. So i don't understand why are you asking for it.

take a rondel dagger instead and you can be a serious problem in melee, if you move fast enough.

Would prefer seeing a wpf requirement if there should be any change at all.

40 wpf for hunting xbow
75 wpf for light xbow
100 wpf for xbow
125 wpf for heavy xbow
150 for arbalest

This would be good, 100 wpf and then all the tincan weight penalties, they would need a bunch of wpf to be able to use it.

exactly,u see tin cans running around with plate and 6 IF at least with crossbow as their secondary weapon.

Havent seen a tincan crossbowman in a looong time.

if u want compare bow and xbow :
- Xbow are very slow. / xbow have pretty the same speed as longbow (reloading time ) so they are to fast
- Xbow don't gain damage from wpf, only accuracy. / without requierement or wpf u do lot of damage and accuracy (with140/150wpf) is rly better than bows
- Xbow DPS are FAR lower from DPS archery have. / but mw arbalest can one shot everything, archers need 3 arrows since this last ninja nerf patch dmg on arrows and xbower need only 140/150 wpf bows need minimum of 150/160 but 170 is recomended to be pure archer

Do you want xbowers gain a 15% of damage por each power reload? / kuli ban never speek about same system as pd who increase damage he just want something fair and add a requierement to xbow coz anybody without point can kill everything at low or long range.

I don't believe my eyes. Some people here are saying that xbows are slow.
Which one? Hunting very fast, light still fast, crossbow little slower only last two could be called slow.
There was time I had fast hybrid archer build 15/24 with 140 wpf in archery and horn bow and I was shocked when some xbower reloaded his probably light xbow faster then my hybrid archer.
Even with my build which has currently 15wpf in crossbow I still have accuracy using hunting crossbow which every Napoleonic war shooter  could be jealous of.
And best thing is I could kill someone. Try it with short bow and 15 wpf.
So if something like power xbow will be created. I will be for slower low tier xbows with very tiny wpf requirement and PX specially for xbow, heavy xbow and arbaopiness.
This way peasant xbows will be usably by everyone and will be in disadvantage against archer and dedicated arbaheroes will not knock me down with every second hit with dildomace.

- The fastest xbow is as fast as the slowest bow.
- Lot of damage? Just no
- Mw arbalest oneshot everything???. Did you play an arbalest build the last year blackbow? If someone is oneshotted, is an archer and only sometimes. You survived a lot of shots of my full loomed arb + bolts so that is not true. And you wear loomed clothes.
- Yes of course, he was talking of a huge nerf without any convincent reason. Lobbysm is lobbysm.

I understand the archer rage because every patch is a nerf, but xbowers now at this moment are fine. Just assume that one of our roles is shooting static archers. And how curious is, that every ranged nerf is asked from twohanders. Just notice it.
