MOAR THROWING FOR THE THROWING GODS!!!

I keep hitting my teammates in the back because I can't jump over them.

I thought you were NA? Jump throwing hasn't been removed NA side. Ban for deliberately TK'ing.

Eventually they'll transfer all the lame nerfs over to NA too, only a matter of time...

Justification for leaving jump throwing in game.

This is a team game. I don't care about duel server at all. To encourage team play, throwers need to be able to stand behind a line of shields or pikes and attack the enemy over their teammates. You simply can't without being able to jump.

Or implement the following. Press B and deploy a wooden stool 2 feet high to stand on when behind teammates.

Don't encourage more Rambo styles and discourage team play. Leave jump throwing in the game.

You can't jump and throw anymore? AHahahaha! For fuck sakes how many times do they need to nerf a dead class?

In game tonight watching all of the jumping lolstabs from 2 handers and polearms I can't see the justification for the removal of jump throwing unless they also intend to remove it from those classes as well.

Of course, if they did that then I really don't know what kind of game they are balancing for except a not very fun one  :(

I only jump throw to avoid hitting teammates in the back. If they remove it, I'll just try to toss over them, but I'll probably end up TWing more than I already do. And anyone on NA Siege can tell you my throwing axes tend to hit teammates about as often as enemies (those things are so damn inaccurate, and I'm reckless with them to boot).

I'm not a fan of people that abuse jumpthrow to headshot through shields though, so I'll be glad to see that gone.

Find me one thread started by a 2H lobbying for the removal of jump throwing...

I'm going to miss jump throwing as wel, but stop blaming 2Hs for everything. Adapt and move on, that's what I did.

Throwing allowed me to kill players much better than me. That's the definition of throwing.

Are you trolling right now? Is skill ONLY skill when it is melee or what a particular individual plays? Surely they killed you because they were better at aiming than you were at dodging.

Or it was a random shot, which is no different from a random knock down by friendly cav, or random teamkill or random distraction that either costs or gifts you a victory in a fight. The context is the same, the perception through which they are judged is not.

A poor doctor will treat symptoms,
but will never find the right medicine.

Jump throwing is ok.
Most siege maps have some
bad wall parts for ranged, where you have to jump
to be able to target anything.

Stop treating symptoms.
Roar the battlecry when charging into melee,
but stay calm and keep your silence,
when aiming for a final and deadly shot.

Seriously, I find it quite difficult to understand why it was necessary to remove jump throwing. I don't see how it can be considered OP or gamebreaking or anything else. It was simply fun and taking it away means taking away some of the fun in the mod.

Not sure why this nerf was implemented in the first place but I am dead sure that it's pretty pointless and unnecessary. And have I already mentioned 'killing the fun' part?

Infantry plan to rule the mod:
1: Nerf archers to dust so that people quit playing them - Check!
2: Nerf throwers to dust so people quit playing them - In Progress!
3: Nerf xbows to dust so people quit playing them - Coming Soon! Edit: Updated to In Progress! http://forum.meleegaming.com/general-discussion/please-help-44544/
4: Nerf Cavalry to dust so people quit playing them - In Planning stages!
Love how you're implying that archery is weaker than throwing atm, this thread for buffing throwing started by a shielder with a rondel dagger got highjacked by a bunch of my old friendchers screaming "Yeah! Return it to throwers and my bow/xbow! Totally!",  vast majority of throwers and probably other people (who believe in allowing it whatsoever) in general do believe that jumping while shooting should only be allowed for throwing and horse ranged purely.

Total taking advantage of an actual unfair change that hit someone bad to shout "Yeah! Buff me!", seriously, disgusting.
I'm not a real thrower, I'm a HT, I am indirectly buffed by this change just like all people who aren't ranged are, and unlike regular jumpshooting I have support jumpthrowing.
1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.
