its really getting better and better. episodes 4+5 were top notch. I loved both appearances of the mountain that rides. The poor horse, reminded me of this game as well.

I have to admit that I never figured in the books that Varys and Illyrio were the two Arya is unwillingly eavesdropping on.    I'm gonna check later if they are described distinctively.

Also I reread the books atm in awaiting of The Dance with Dragons, I am deep into The Feast For Crows now and its overwhelming to see the extra grip on the view of characters and their development I get by watching the early story and reading the late simultaneously. Plus the sympathy I have for characters like Jaime or the respect and scorn for Littlefingers actions. Though I wonder if its not too easy to see what scheming bastard Petyr is for those who didn't read the books.

Ive read the first book going on the second tomorrow (when my book store gets it) but at the moment No respect for Jaime is there for me. Besides maybe the love between the brothers. Jaime kicks ass to 'try' and get hi brother back. Seems like theyre doing about 3 chapters at a time so I hope they do all of the series of books.
I do think it was a little far to have a 5yr old sucking on his mothers tits though. I know it was to show how crazy that queen is and how week the some (king) is as well. And I hope that Joffery dies a horrible death. Cant wait for all the other twists coming, should be exciting to watch.

As already mentioned, you said it was crap, yet you're still watching it and as also mentioned, there are plenty of shitty shows out there with lots of action in that you can go watch. So I am puzzled why you're still complaining, lol.

Series 1 is great so far, really getting into the story, the pacing is nice and gives time for the viewer to learn who's who and about the history of Westeros, but at the same time it isn't too slow for me for it to become boring. The characters are fantastic and seemingly have the right actors suited to the parts.

I didn't remember that the knight of flowers was gay in the book, is that right or just in the tv show?
