I think pausing strategus would get us in the Christmas spirit. One should not fight in this jolly time of the year. One thing that would be pretty neat would be for the devs. to put a giant Christmas tree on the middle of the map, and those who travel there gets a little gift from Santa chadz.

why pause for christmas? can we pause for a few hours next thursday coz i gotta go shopping?? and the last week in august would be good too!!!
why not just delay any battles on the 25th for a day, tht seems to happen enough anyway
but a 3 week pause seems ridiculous to me, if you have better and/or more important things to do, do them!
i go to work every day i go out any days im not at work and strat has never spontaineously combusted before ive got home
i personally was looking forward to a few good battles on my week off work for xmas. and i was trying to arrange a strat fight for xmas day (evening, just for the fun of it)
if most ppl wanna pause then ill stfu and go play something else for the festive season but i can't be the only person thinking this so speak up ppl!
