IF possible, I , and other people would not be able to play on DX9, as some of us with crappy desktops, or god forbid, laptops, can not play without FPS drops resulting in missing blocks, hits and all over, making a large number rage-quit.  We are asking for DX7 to be availible (we know it wasnt built in, but in cmp we trust)

Fromg what cmp said - I don't think it was a choice to not include DX7 compatability....I think it might be IMPOSSIBLE to allow DX7 compatability with WSE2.

Because when you have that much code that changes so much with how the base game works, you're bound to have tons of conflicts.
It's like a puzzle trying to fit all of the shit together without errors.
You're also forgetting that cRPG is a mod while Black Ops and Battlefield aren't.

i had ge force 240gt ddr3 1gb of memory i had problems with fps drops,and i was playing on lowest dx9 settings.
now i bought ati radeon 7750hd ddr5 1gb memory and guess what? I still sometimes get frps drops,and  freezes,but i play on ultra high settings.
Even if i lower settings to minimum i still have fps drops when i enter some realy big battle in eu1.
It is engine fault,not your pc. I have latest graphic card and it is still causing problems.

It might be latest generation, but the 7750 is still a mid range card (although it should be more than enough for Warband). Don't forget that FPS drops can be also caused by a weak CPU and many other factors.

well my pc recently died so im stuck using an old tower i had and the only way i can play is dx7 and all settings on low. so i guess my only request is to not make this wse2 thing mandatory. at least for a few months until i either build a new rig or fix my older one
