I don't think real archers jumped around like sissies when they shot their arrows...
What's the draw poundage on these bows? When he does the jumping around, falling down, etc maneuvers his arrows can't even pierce the crappy round few centimeter thick targets.

still, using this technique and fully drawing the bow would still mean archer could fire alot faster.
Check the end of the video. In the info page it is stated that he used 30 and 35 pound bows. Not enough do deal with real layered armour. Especially if the bow is not fully drawn.
That modern wimp propably trains more than every medival man would have had time or desire for. From my point of view close combat rapid fire archery is only usable from horseback and against low-armour targets. On foot it's better to stick to fully drawn long distance archery unless one is behind strong fortifications that seperates the angry target footman from oneself.
