You must be kidding ME! 3/4 of those I know reading the books, love Arya, including myself. She's not a second character for us! Even by her story she seems to be a prefered character by the author himself, same goes for Cersei and Danareys (or Bran).

Second characters are:
King Robert, Tommen, Joffrey
the tullys (except for Cat)
the Freys (mostly)
Robb Stark
as examples

Why Robb? Yes, he hardly had a chapter for himself, always being mentioned in Cat's chapters as second character, and his death wasnt that surprising either to be honest. Like the author wanted to get rid of him
