I've never been much for naming things, apart from my usual internet name which doesn't fit the era. So I just made up a name that sounded good enough, which is how Khorin was born. It wasn't consciously similar to Qhorin, though I had read the ASoIaF books way back in 2009.
Other than that, most of my names are Khorin derivatives and/or names from fictional works, because I can't be bothered with names that much.
Ninja_Qhorin and Ninja_Quorin (same guy, but people use different spellings) is blatantly ripped from A Song of Ice and Fire. But I rarely use these two.
Corin is ripped from the new Conan movie where Conan's dad is named Corin. He's a barbarian two hander with some small riding skill, because Conan can ride a bloody horse.
Chorin is a derivative of Charin which was a minor character in Startgate Atlantis.
Thorin is obviously from the Hobbit.
Ghorin was an arabian alt based on Ghorid's.
Borin was created when I was bored.
Reason why I do Khorin derivatives is because people can easily recognize me when I use them. I'm pretty fortunate to have so many names given to me though
Keyoke and Lujan are blatantly ripped from books simply because they sound japanese.
However my normal internet name is quite unique based on google, but that one I will not disclose
