If every item in cRPG except 13th century (the period M&B Warband is based on) items were removed, would it ruin the game for you?

For example, this would mean removing items like the plate armours.

If you provide alternative weapons to replace those removed, then yes I will be fine with it.

Anyway, obviously if the items were removed then cRPG's dedicated item team would work tirelessly to replace the removed items with new more historically accurate ones.


As for pros and cons:

Pros: we would see a more historically accurate mod. Armour and weapons would be as period-accurate as possible, and possibly this would increase the general aesthetic of cRPG, since the items would mesh better.

Cons: we would lose some items that might be very popular. Possibly you could argue that this would limit choice, and that 15th century items (for example) add to the unique feel of cRPG.

Well u would also have to remove ninja items and samurai items and poleaxe and bec corbin and tons of other weapons that dont belong in the 13th century europe list goes on....

Well but if your seeking to lower the server stress i geuss this change would fit well

Had to point this out. Its not 13th century. Its  15th to 16th century.  I'm not certain where you got the notion it was based on the 13th century.

::update:: are you basing it off of the year stated in the bottom right corner of the campaign? It does state 1257, but bare in mind its a fictional land and the calendar year does not necessarily reflect our calendar.

I was thinking about that, I've already changed the long espada model on my side and I was wondering if it was possible to do it with all non 13th century weapons but keep their stats.
