Btw, it's totally true some logos are just objectively, technically superior to some others. But he is also jelly of not being part of the circle jerk. And I should stop posting for today right... now...

The point though is that the "super pro sober logo" can then be TURNED INTO a crazy 3D banner of awesomeness...but the whole thing should start with a soundly designed logo.

The guys who made that Warcraft 3D plaque started with a flat, vector, font treatment...and once that was solid, they added to it.
But, if all that was stripped away, that Warcraft font - white over black - would STILL be recognizable and strong.  That's the point.

So what does that mean here?  It means add flames and effects and shields etc...but just make sure the base of it is soundly designed too....thats all!

Yeah, as a ninja, I have all the money I will ever need(none) and I also have all the looms I'll ever need(Lamellar and Katana). If I win, I'll probably donate the loompoint to a clan member if anyone wants it, or create an MW katana at some point and put it in the clan bank.

I'm not going to bother to reply to the self-obsessed whackjob, I'll skip to the issue at hand!

Now I might have somewhat of a romanticized view of cRPG. It's a remnant from the old days, when cRPG was silly. Silly, but hilarious and relaxed. Starting from 2011 onwards, this mod went into a more seriuz bizzniz direction. Which is horrible and killed the mod. I have always advocated a return to the relaxed and silly cRPG of old. Therefore I support this logo:

Fuck seriuz bizzniz, pick this logo, away with you corporate looking logos. Let the logo represent the funny and casual approach that this mod should have. Reimplement cross dressing. Let the carpets do their flying. Reimplement the Swords of Cookies and Tears and the Looney Toons Axe. Remove the multiplier and above all, bring back the Boulder on a Stick model.

So we can all smile again for once.

If you can't see the posts where I argue and debate, you are looking at the wrong places. I debate, argue and come up with stuff a lot in the suggestion/game balance boards. It's just that when I'm in the rest of the forum (beginner's help, guides, diplomacy, strat issues, map making) I'm not there to discuss or argue. I'm there to comment and help out. Not everyone is a shitposter looking for people to whine against.

Besides, I'm always right.  It's not about arguing as much as making people realizing I speak the truth.

I just want to mention an insane idea I just had: how about inventing a new name for cRPG? I find the name actually a little bit clumsy to pronounce, and it doesn't sound very well. Something more "atmospheric" perhaps, which can be abbreviated better? Like "The Rise of Warriors" (really bad example, 5 sec. thinking time) which would be abbreviated "Trow". Easier to pronounce, and the full name sounds more epic. (Or in this case, it tries harder to sound epic).

Just an idea, please don't kill me folks!

For the record Teeh...I have supported Thovex's logo from the beginning...

It's not about "fun" or not - it's about it being well designed. 
Mine is (hopefully) well designed and serious toned.  Thovex's is well designed and more jovial in tone. 

I fully support Thovex's logo and would be happy if it won.
