Like this too...mostly the black/white versions.

I would say for the colored one, work on the "earth" part (assuming that is a mound of earth, dirt, etc).
Maybe have it not "liquid" looking and more textural like dirt.  Just a thought.

Also, on the colored one, maybe look into more of a gritty treatment for the lettering.

Not to be mean or anything but that's kinda the idea :lol:. At first glance it will look only just as you described "a cluster of figures". Now look at the small one in the banner, then look back to the bigger one. I even ripped out all the small details from the fighters so the thing is easier to spot :(.

Yeh me too... Hard to decide if I had to do it. Luckily I don't have to :mrgreen:.

I like your suggestion a lot for it suits well to be a launcher icon etc. Not suitable for the flag tho if they want to keep it. Somehow reminds me of Diablo 1 style... All that glow in dark and shit :D
