Did not know it was the same font as Elindor. Just browsed through my fonts in Gimp and tried a bunch of different ones, and most are way too ornamental for my taste or not medieval-ish enough, this striked a nice middleground.

It's not exactly an uncommon font. It was either this font, or some horribly overstylized medieval fonts, or the warcraft font or the lotr font which I had to choose from. I believe this one is the God of War font. This reminded me of Bjord's earlier comment about Elindor's font:

If Elindor doesn't win this, then there's something fishy going on!

Elio's is also very nice, so definitely runner up.

As for the others, they're nice too but in my fair opinion, and please don't take this personally, are a bit lukewarm. They don't appeal to me, and ultimately, I can't see them on the website or anywhere else. Elindor obviously knows what he's doing, he does this for a living and he's educated in graphic design. I think that is also clear by the way he describes the ideal logo, as well as in his logo itself. Even in less obvious aspects, like his workflow. Most people only use one program to do everything, but he is refining his work with each step, Illustrator for the font itself(which I assume he designed himself and didn't just snatch one from dafont.com), and then your run-of-the-mill editing software for the high quality effects and textures. That windswept banner for example, is looking very sublime.

This probably sounds like pretentious garbage to you, but I value the worth of a good work flow, as I am studying photography. I've taken one course of graphic design, and it was equally important.

I am not asskissing, I am simply praising Elindor's work as I feel that is something that has been overlooked in all this circlejerk.

Anyway, one thing that bothered me are these speckles of "dirt" on your logo. I would highlight them, but I think you know what I mean. It would look better if you cleaned that up.

Heh. That happened originally by mistake, but it kind of grew on me, because it reminded me of CRPG(computer role-playing games) game logo's of old.
They had the grainy dirty quality to them mainly due to being lower resolution and always looked a little off in colours. I thought it'd be a funny double-reference that no one will understand

My logo has this obscure stoney metallicky thing going on with it.

You need to try and develop it further to make it a little clearer what it stands for. (Making it look like a medieval tapestry thing would be awesome!)

This is some nice work!

Some thoughts:

- On a darker background some decent rim lighting may come in handy.
- I don't know if it'll need the texture so badly, maybe a less heavy textured version for the new trailer, but for the website it won't need a texture I'd say.
- I like the flag. but I personally would change it in a way that you can read the letters even without the flag being transparent. I like the effects though, I'm not against it. Like I said, the logo version for a trailer should have some more action, imho.
- About the typography, will you do anything about the lower part of the R letter? I think it should be adjusted so that it goes along with the P more smoothly. Maybe like this:

This is actually really nice compositionally...the question, as you mentioned, is about the flipped G.  Just depends how the devs feel about that.
