It is showing the evolution of one character, which is a 2 hander in this case, or it is how I understood ...

The concept was to represent the evolution of the player in stuff & skill (it came to my mind when I heard cRPG) that is very important in cRPG. The hero is 2h because most of the famous players were 2h at the begining of cRPG. And even if there is more and more 1h nowadays, it's the idea I kept from cRPG.

Concept is fantastic I think, but without life as it is now. Some interaction/fighting between the characters, some blood and arrows.. The "Evolution" idea that you are using is so well known that it could, and should be played with.

Here's a basic layout...could work on implementing it on other things (a banner, a plaque, etc)...but wanted to start with layout, colors, fonts, etc

Looks like Guild Wars 2 logo. :lol:

Anyway, IMO best so far.

You should make a vector and simplify the 3D text too, BTW.

Ah, I had assumed you used Cinema 4D or something like that for the text, looks well made. Did you make the dimensional effects by hand?

I also like the presentation with the vignette etc. :D

IMO, you should do more font types, play around with the effects more. I was also gonna try to contribute, and I had a metal texture(real crispy one) in mind.

May I ask what programs you use?

The base logo is created in Illustrator and effects applied in Photoshop/After Effects

Yeah, some variations on the base logo could be good...different fonts/layouts
