Check out this mod: Requiem - The Oldschool Roleplaying Overhaul (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19281).

It's supposed to make the game more similar to old titles and less arcade. I'm going to download it and try it out myself.

Edit: I have been playing Requiem alongside some mods in its "compatible mods list" and a couple of others, and I am having the most fun out of Skyrim ever. It reminds me of Gothic - slow and hard.

I finally got my hands on Skyrim. 35 Hours into the game, I spend 90% of the time tweaking and creating my "own" ENB preset.

It's always awesome when modders make models straight from the older TES work with the new one. You still have to place everything by hand, but a humongous amount of work is spared.

vMega, does realistic lightning still make city interiors dark to the point you have to use torches and spells to see whatever jarl or bartender you are talking to ?
