These maps are annoying since they take long to clear waves, which equals less rewards.
I love DTV, It's basically the only reason I play Crpg.

More than the reward, the problem relies on spending hours on the same map, because someone has to go to their spawn - sometimes very far away - to kill the last bot (or hopefully make it move) - and it's not hard that that person dies after doing that, since the next wave spawns right in front of him.

It's just as if, in battle, one team had to run all the way to the other team's spawn, because they are camping spawn - but worse, because the bots just don't move at all.

If some DTV maps were made that were designed specifically for DTV do you think you could add them to try them out?
I'm thinking gauntlet style maps that the bots have to run through and where you can get shield walls going, or ones where you have a defensible position on top of a hill ect instead of just fences or houses to glitch bots on.
The current DTV "metagame" of just abusing terrain is pretty stupid and ruins what could otherwise be a fun gamemode I think, although it would probably require some rebalancing in the waves.

I had a go at making a gauntlet type map for DTV a while back, it is pretty awful since i'm not good at making maps but I just made it as a rough test and maybe someone could take the idea and do it better than me so DTV can be a more fun gamemode.

Sorry for the poor screenshots I can only run directx7 lowest settings but I think this type of map made better would be awesome for DTV (would probably need to be considerably larger for one..)

the map names have been messed up on the HRE servers for quite some time until i fixed it in october i think(?), so the names displayed now are the correct ones. i already removed some maps where the bots got stuck badly. i will check the maps in the opening post tomorrow, so i might remove a few more.
