Siege Mode 'Running in Tar'

Near all maps on Siege Mode still suffer from the 'running in tar' interiors where it feels like everyone suddenly has 0 ATH and are wearing full plate, ignoring character builds and making movement awkward and random.

Was this caused by building onto cliff sides or some other movement penalizing terrain which somehow is still triggered through several castle floors? Remembering a time before this bug was introduced I was thinking it perhaps would be possible to fix it, or at least remove maps where it's present and make sure we won't see it in any new maps that are added?

Yes, but it wasn't there during beta until one of the last patches before release.

I hate it, basically renders my 11 athletics useless and gets me killed in situations that I wouldn't die in normally.

It's an issue with the map(s) itself. The NA community server - when it had siege - was actually fixed.

NA Official, to my knowledge, retains the broken mechanics.

Its really annoying when your defender or attacker an have to rush to the flag or choke points that's for sure.
I've never played a server where people split up as much or as often as on EU1.  No wonder range is having a field day.

It's related to a few specific scene props that slow people down horribly

One of many reasons I don't play siege.

I also dislike the repetetive transportation from one point to another which takes more time than waiting while dead on a battle server.

So, siege is broken and ignored.
Why am I not surprised?
Hooray for customization and hybridization!
Down with monotonous pure classes!

This, planked floors and any ladder are the same.  Forward and backward movement is given a molassesesqe effect, while strafing with A and D key bypasses the "FUCK U MOVE SLOW" trigger.

The devs are well aware of what exactly causes it, I yelled about it to them until they brainstormed some easy fixes in either the code or changing the props.

Then nothing was done  ~~cRPG~~

Must be some variable connected with these as props that worked flawlessly at one point were suddenly bugged after a patch (for example the old 'Castle 3') yet retaining the same props, with two or three more patches coming before release without addressing the issue.
