Clan Ladder Bank

Can devs remove the 5% fee? It's ridiculous. I put money in there a long time ago to help out new players who needed money in the clan or simply used it as a stash to make sure i still have some back up cash. Yeah blah blah about people who abuse that system to avoid the 5% fee in marketplace, just add a cool down button for two weeks (meaning the "new member" wont be able to use the bank or armory for two weeks). That way the actual real recruits will still be able to use the banner and say a member from one clan wants to trade with a member from another clan and go around the 5% fee it would take that person 4 weeks to get the money and return to his clan with full usage of it. I doubt that someone would wait 4 weeks just to save say 50k or something.

I wish they would add a taxation that clans could set for their members and alts. Something like where you could set a tax on your player's ticks, anywhere from 0-10% so each of their ticks pays into the bank a little bit would be great. My clan would be all for it because it is money we would really never see, and it would help buy more Looms, equip new players, fund out Plated Charger bumping, and go to a great use.

Devs should consider it.

Yes this would be fantastic.

Another idea is to lock gold where it is and have all of a given member's profits go to the clan bank.

What kind of a fucked up idea is this? Forcing your clanmates to share their gold, fucking commie, if I feel like giving 50k to SoA I give 50k to SoA, if I don't feel like giving 50k to SoA then I don't give 50k to SoA, and the same would go for all my clanmates, the second SoA would try to force me to donate gold to them is the second I'd leave, and your fucking argument for why it's a good idea to steal instead of let your members choose if they wish to support you is that they won't notice you're stealing from them...
What you suggest is just some fascist commie bullshit...
1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.

Calm down there internet tough guy. I know school is rough right now, but try to relax in these forums.

Obviously, the amount of tax would be decided by the clan. Most ticks in terms of gold go unnoticed, and I'm pretty sure 2-4% (you're talking 1 or 2 gold per 50 gold, I did the math because I know it's hard for you to comprehend) would hardly be noticeable for most players. This would be something all clan members are expected to pay. You pay sales tax right? It ranges anywhere from 7.8% to 8.5% and some states even higher. Do you bitch? No. Not sure if you're old enough to get a paycheck, but ever looked at it? Good portion is held for taxes.

Most clans and a lot of players would get behind an idea to have their clan members pay a small tax into the bank and it's done for them off of each tick. It's like they never even received the gold, but they still are contributing to the clan. It's up to the clan to decide whether or not they'd tax the players. SoA doesn't want to do it? Great, good for them! They don't have to, but it could be an easy to implement idea that would make the clan bank a more viable means for clans to gather and get money together to fund members who need it. I know for a fact I would not miss 1-5 gold each tick, not a big deal.

So like I said, calm down. This isn't about every clan and everyone submitting to it, it's a simple suggestion.

Essentially your idea is taking gold from your clanmates without them noticing it, totally not fucked up and retarded, at all.

So just don't join clans that tax you.
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.

Still, it's retarded and the devs really shouldn't waste their time coding shit just so Tanken can steal from his clanmates without them noticing.

I think a clan tax could be useful for features such as helping fund a "market program" where a member just plays the market and makes money buying low and trading high, several clans do this already, and other games have a "tax" option such as EVE for funding group projects.

Admittedly, c-RPG Melee Gaming currently does not have too much of a demand for a money pool, but it does currently allow a "bank" for a reason, and it would not be stealing if all members agree. Heck, even have the clan tax be "public" on the clan screen that already exists.

Of course, there would be ways to troll the system, but there would be easy fixes via delays and/or notifications for tax changes.

I'm too lazy to manually donate gold to the clan on a regular basis. I wouldn't mind this.
This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.

in my country (quebec) we pay about 15% tax

5% is annoying but as dev are trying to money sink everything it's pretty much obligatory, we do not want fisc heaven in crpg!

maybe they could remove tax when you give money to teammate gen 1 lvl 25- ? (not alt obviously)

because it's annoying when I wanna help someone it's already a money sink as this guy will buy useless gear and try a lot then sell them for half the price!

So the new response to ranged ragers is not "get a shield", it is "learn to chamber ranged nub!"
