Skyrim sorta sucks, just sayin'.
I guess that's why i threw in a mod that makes the game x10 better. What a waste of forum space your post was.

@ Polobow, pretty much what Patoson said, you can find all these on Skyrim Nexus.

10x better still sounds like waste of space, just sayin'.
1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.

Thanks, I'm going to give that a try this weekend.  I never really got into Skyrim the way I was able to get into Oblivion (I've started at least 10 games of Oblivion and finished 2 or 3, put in at least a few hundred hours total into it).  I played maybe 20 hours of Skyrim.

I can't even really explain why, Skyrim looks much better than Oblivion, I like the environment and characters much better (dragons, giants, and mammoths are awesome).  And I like the leveling better too, not nearly as complex, but I think that's partly why I liked Oblivion was because it wasn't dumbed down like a lot of games are required to be these days.

Man, i agree. Oblivion felt more RPG-like for me. The movement was not so complicated plus the quests were more 'medieval', it just... felt better.

I think I will try that. (and give up all my characters D: )

Mod list so far contains like 50 mods.

Those I really recommend :

- Sky UI (much, much better than QD Inventory)
- Automatic variants
- Quality world map
- Better quest objectives (I play without compass, without fast travel and I tend to avoid using quest markers)
- All quests from ThirteenOranges
- Towns and villages enhanced
- 2k textures
- ASIS

One thing that was much better in Oblivion was the guilds, all of them. Also, Cyrodiil is much more varied than Skyrim. In Skyrim, half the map is just snow which makes it very boring to visit.

Two big, audacious mods could really take Skyrim to a whole new level :

- A complete multiplayer support. Imagine the awesomeness of doing a skyrim coop game, or even a DayZ-like experience.
- Directional combat. The number one reason I stopped playing oblivion is Warband, because the combat in Oblivion felt completely dull after that. Skyrim's combat is no better than that of Oblivion.

Just to ask, is there any mods for skyrim that allows you to build or take over a fort for yourself? I always wanted to take over over a fort in skyrim and have it as a base. Maybe with the ability to hire people to guard it and etc.

Like in morrowind you could build a town of a sort when you were in one of the houses. Then when you finished the other two houses had towns of their own and tried to kill you as well. It was cool. Plus you had guards for it.

Morrowind was still the best game in the series, Oblivion was fine, while all stories were shit they at least weren't *Walks in the door*, *Random guy comes up to you*, "Yeah, you're our new leader, you're so cewl, go keel dis peplez and sav zhe day, wait, did I remember to mention you're the chosen one and you're awesome?"...
And fucking finishing moves make it impossible to play anything else then a fucking tank as 90% of people would just randomly finish move you making any real combat strategies impossible. No unique loot in dungeons, every unique item is in a quest, the item will be level scaled and the plot will be horrible, there will be no real challenge which requires actual fucking thought.
Dragons are boring as shit, magic is dull as shit, melee hasn't gotten any more fun than Morrowinds or Oblivions, stealth is unbelievably retarded, perks are fucking stupid, NPCs got no character, not a single fun quest in the game, the only challenges you'll ever face are ice trolls at level 1 and random enemies insta 1hitting you with nothing you can do to prevent it leaving no space for actual tactics if you decide to play an extremely gimped and weak char for the sake of melee being slightly fun when you're totally underpowered, and sure there are mods which address most of this shit but eh, vanilla is horrible as shit.

Dude you never played it? It was awesome. Speech was actually useful in that game. I loved it in morrowind. You could taunt people into attacking you then kill them without any consequences. Loved doing that to guards.

Plus when you wanted to wipe out a town and cast levitate and started shooting people, the guards would scatter saying stuff. Don't remember what they said but I always remember laughing.

Oblivion was fine, while all stories were shit...
With the exception of the official Shivering Isles expansion, omfg soooooooooooooooo good, if that expansion was a game all by itself and the main focus of the ESIV story line it would have been the best game setting I've ever been immersed in.
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

Very cool. I was thinking more along the lines of taking over any fort you wanted that was already in game but this is pretty cool too. Thanks for the find. Not sure what the crokers are but.. should be interesting.

That's what the difficulty option is for. Try master difficulty.
