Some people use the public chat as a private messengerchat. And rant on in russian ,turkish,french,german,scandi etc..
Can be abit frustrating, since you always look and try to see what is written. And very often it is incomprehensible.
Muting the chat is no fun either, since it is serves a function when used properly.
Is it possible to add mute everyone using non-latin alphabet? Or if less than 10% of words used match an english wordlist?

Maybe silly and possibly ignorant problem that is not shared by everyone

I can't read any cyrillic language so from a completely egoistical point of view I would be better with these completely out of the game

The only reason we can still read most text in english is because the use of non english langauge is limited.

But what if everyone started to speak in their native language at the same time?
I'm pretty sure people would be annoyed when 90% of all text on european servers is not english.

Anyway, fonts should be the same or similar no matter the language.

I'd say people with english as their native language is minority in european cRPG servers.

It's not a false friend, it's that most people don't know the actual meaning of italic and assume it's just oblique text.
