One thing you can try, uninstall everything that has to do with Games for windows live, like marketplace etc. Start the game without re-downloading them, if that doesn't work, download the latest client from their website, see if that works.

Yeah tried uninstalling and reinstalling those but didn't work. The issue started when I changed the in game options. So I'm going to reinstall the game and then I found that DSfix mod so I'll give that a go maybe and hopefully it'll work!

Yeah AA is off. Reinstalled it but this time it wouldn't even start, like the options I previously changed are still there as it's acting the same. Wondering where the in game settings are saved? Because even though I reinstalled it's still acting as if it's trying to get into fullscreen mode and can't.

If I activate the fullscreen mode in DSfix it opens full screen and immediately crashed. So it just cuts out the flickering open and closed part. It's very strange.

Ok success. Took me a lot of searching on google, for some reason couldn't find out the location but found the original .ini file that the game made. On there I changed AA to 0 and fullscreen to 0. It's now started but in windowed mode. Will now try using DSfix to actually change it to fullscreen.

Edit:

Put in DSfix, changed to full screen in that and now it's working. Serves me right for trying to change the in game options! :rolleyes:

Working on the bell gargoyles. I'm fine until the second one turns up then I get torn apart.

Basically the bloody fire.

Edit:

Been trying for two hours. Problem is whilst one sprays the fire I can't get near the first one and I'm to avoid everything. But if I take the hits on my shield, because both start meleeing my stamina instantly gets pummelled down. Can handle the first one, losing know health. But no idea how to avoid the second on on top of the first.

Tried summoning Lautrec or Solaire?
