Do you even Sen skip bro.

That one is genuinely hard because of unpredictable AI.

Sens skip is pretty easy imo. I still struggle with duke skip though, and the royal woods skip is 2hard4me

Praise the sun, our hollows have returned'st.

I'll probably be semi active throughout the event, going to do a bunch of human playthroughs i believe, maybe do some summoning even.

Remastered announced, its made in DS3 engine afaik. This could change so much. Im almost more worried than excited. If they decide to make it with ds3 combat i'll probably just not buy it. But i wouldnt mind them finishing lost izalith and tomb of the giants etc, areas that were lacking.

Shit, didn't even think about that. They might actually do it sadly.

6 player online is confirmed, so there are changes already. It'll definitely be something to keep an eye on.

Stick jumping is an option in the remaster, dopeeeeee. Thats like the best thing ever. For whatever reason the old Dark souls prepare to die edition is being removen in favor of the remaster, a bit stupid but i guess they want the dollarydoos. Very stupid actually, in the case of mods not working on the remaster people that join late and are wanting to try some fucked up shit like enemy and items randomization may not have the chance to do so till updated versions drop. Either way, remaster hype. Lagstabs are still in, so pvp is still trash but eh, stick jumps is all i want all i need.

This will be the first souls game to have dedicated servers though grav, I'd like to think that will make a big difference for PvP, but you never really know with From.

Oh im hoping all the online components have been improved, but i have my doubts. Its a different company doing the remaster, not From, probably on orders by namco for some extra moolah. I want it to be good, but i have my suspicions that there may be less passion behind it than one could wish for.

I sometimes played pvp in ds because it was fun invading others, but I don't play it to get good in fighting against others because warband just has the overall better combat system

The PvP can be interesting, it certainly doesn't have as much depth as Warband, but they're too different to be comparable really. Reflexes and timing are important, and you need to have a decent understanding of the different meta weapons and their animations to do really well, although it's definitely one of those games where ultra passive/defensiveness is rewarded too much imo.

Consoles got the PC version which is obvious improvement over not having any version (current gen) and having piss poor version (previous gen), while PC also got PC version for 30 bucks extra. Who got the better deal?

Man, online activity is through the roof. Im having a great time in remaster, 20€ well worth it for me. Though there are many cheaters softbanning people so anti cheat is still broken, and people are rightfully angry. I dont expect From to really care about it much though. As far as offline experience goes its pretty damn good though, clean 60fps without any gameplay changes is great, new particle effects i actually underestimated greatly, they have a really cool touch on the game, some things look gorgeus with them. QoL changes are great, and stick jumping is sick.

Just wanted to post it here if anyone is pondering the purchase. Theres a lot of negativity, but i dont think it weighs as much as it seems, if you enjoy the game as a solo experience that is.
