Draeth, I see you've been using both my +3 Heavy Xbow and Vlanear's +3 Arbalest; what's your opinion on their relative merits?

The new score system is very friendly to crossbows (and archers as well I'm sure). I'm getting 4-6 points every time I hit someone.

Oda, your alt is hogging Vlanear's +3 Steel Bolts. Share the love man! ;) I have a feeling xbows are getting nerfed soon, so we gotta enjoy them while we can.

yeah I've being using both on my stf xbower   

i still think i prefer the heavy xbow more just do to reload time and cost

the only reason i use the arb is for those long range shots or if i have a x5 C:

Of course I am also using +2 steel bolts, but I have been able to stay in the top 5-6 in battle consistently which is new for me. Can't kill shit in siege...

I plan on testing the 3 xbows to see which can get me more valour/points.

Siege is always so dead, I may have to bite the bullet and start playing battle. I just can't stand the boredom after I die though (and I am always one of the first to die, since I like to charge in and be reckless). I find Heavy Xbow to have the ideal reload time for siege, since you can hit someone at both the bottom and top of a ladder, which will kill almost anyone. In battle, you probably can't stay still for long (cav, enemy ranged, etc), so I can see how regular xbow might be best.

Its funny. I would use an arb in battle but not in siege. Always sucks in battle to have an arb that needs to be reloaded and have a horse archer gunning for you though.

But yeah siege needs more players. It was doing well for a while. Is it dying off more now?
