It's underpowered and clearly superior to the long sword. It's been nerfed time and time again. It's a shadow of it's former self, more importantly it's a shadow of what it really is; The finest sword ever made.


After seeing this video it's inconceivable after viewing this video that you could demand anything less than:

37 cut
24 thrust.

Just completely inconceivable!

Technically, you're probably right.
BUT:
as katanas were used by puny asians, they couldnt do anything with it except for making sushi while the european longsword was wielded by uber barbarian muscle berserks who didnt even need a sword to rip apart some asian katana swingers.

Thats why katana sucks.
