Hiring camera crew for the Tournament

I need 1-2 guys to record this weekend's tournament, I was dissapointed nobody recorded the 4v4v4 tournament. It's not necessary to record all the fights (there will be a total of 45 fights), but the most interesting ones (of course if more people want to do it, all fights could be recorded).

All you need to do is be available Saturday ~16:00-20:00GMT and/or Sunday ~18:00-20:00GMT and have a decent computer so you record at least in 720p. I can provide all the necessary software and teach you how to use it. No editing is required, just simple recording.

Looking for people who can record the 6th tournament (16.04-17.04) http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,3918.0.html , the 15vs15 qualifiers should definetly get recorded.

Well if it involves sending you the raw file, it's a no go as it would destroy my connection. I might give it a shot if I'm not participating in the tournament! Good luck anyway.

The recorder will have to convert the file (I will supply the converting software if needed) and upload it to youtube. As I said, no editing is required so sending me the footage isn't necessary.

I might be able to but it depends, what bit rate do you want the recorded stuff rendered as?
I'm not retreating, just advancing in another direction!

Well so far I rendered it as .mp4 5302kbps (30 FPS, 1280x720), it's perfect for youtube. I can give you the rendering software I use (xilinx video converter) it's by far the best one I found so far.

I'll be there on saturday, maybe sunday.

Thank you.

So your going to tell who's going to record what fight to prevent any crossovers/ duplicates?

Let's wait a little to see how many people will be sure to be there. Ideally there will be 3 people, one records Group A qualifiers from 16:00 GMT Saturday, one Group B from 18:00 GMT and the other one the finals from 18:00 GMT Sunday. Each would have 15 fights to record, but i would be more than happy to have even 10 fights recorded from each session (the ones that seem to be the most interesting).

Please post here which session you can record.

I will hopefully come recording as well as I retired as a too low level to fight. :)
However I'd only be around recording the 18 GMT battles, 16 is a bad bad time.

I hope I can make it.

I record in 1080p and 1 minute of raw footage takes about 1GB. Most fights don't last more than 1-1:30 minutes so if you plan to record 1 session (15 fights) 15-20 GB and you'll be fine. If you record in lower quality you will obviously need less space.

Also check your inboxes, I need to know when you are availabe so I can make a list to avoid 2 people recording the same stuff.
