We come from Napoleonic Wars DLC for Warband. (previously mount & musket)

My personal intent to start playing happened 2 weeks ago after I heard that the best melee combatants in NW came from cRPG. I thought I would brush up on my skill with my fellows here in hope for anything I learn in playing cRPG (where melee reaction times need be quicker) would carry over into NW.

Nice clan idea and you already show effectiveness on the battle server. I have cursed many a times in TS about you guys actually sticking together and guarding each others rear - which is deadly for cav like me

You should have just been a Byzantine clan, then you could have had the standard spear/shield infantry, PLUS varangian guard two handers and Cataphracts.

You basically wear all Byzantine stuff anyways...putting a helmet from the 1400's on you and wearing Byzantine armor isn't an ancient Greek hoplite . Would have made a lot more sense. Ancient greeks weren't the only spear/shield game in town...

There isn't Ancient Greek armor. We are working with what we have and even implimented a custom model made by myself. You don't need to come to our forum to say this just because we didn't fit to what you wanted to be called.

More importantly, we are here to have fun in our way. Not yours. We are Greek Hoplites. Forever.

Honestly guys, it is more about the feeling that we give on the battlefield, they see our banners and they know that a shield wall is coming and that their life is about to become difficult. We are working with the resources we have to create the closest feeling we can. Its all about having fun man. If your not having fun, its not worth playing, so if you were not having fun, you were perfectly justified to leave. However, coming into our room and telling us how to do our business, (especially when you could have aired this vocally to us in TS), is extremely petty.

It's cool, do what what you want...but there is nothing in the inventory to match an ancient Greek hoplite. It's just Byzantine armor and an Italian helmet from the fifteenth century that you're wearing. They didn't wear mail, they didn't wear scale. Makes no sense.
