Great to see another shield wall unit. Lots of quality infantry fights on battle tonight.


Should consider adding great mauls to your repertoire, for killing power when the spears stun people to set up the kills.

You guys stick together. Well done. I will encourage getting a little more triarii. A perfect situation for you guys would be 2 pikes, 1 longspear , 2 hoplites and 2 stick-beaters(shielders with 1h weapon).

Get some practice and teamwork and you will do very very. Zan sees potential, now go kill things with sharp pointy sticks my fellow spearmen!

Thanks for the advice Zan! When we get enough people on we split into groups, simmilar to your suggestion, of 2 hastae, 2 xiphos, 1 peltarion, 1 triarii. It works very well, especially when the 2 groups converge.
