Well. There can't be too many wannabe knights around.

I'm not too fond of that samurai armour in that thread. Looks glossy which is easy to fix, but the textures don't look that good either.

The chinese stuff however looks great. Would love to see some of that ingame.

I'm a bit mixed about the J.a.p.a.n.e.s.e. armor, but those Chinese armor and weapons look great

We have enough wannabe samurai/ninja kids running around. Ill give chadz $300 to remove the black hood and katana for a week and see who doesn't QQ.

Instead we'd just use a HBS or a Longsword and see little difference.

Difference in speed between katana and longsword is noticeable. You won't be able to spam it like katana.

Yes, but not on this mod, this is a sub-mod addon for 1257 AD, and some of the crusader items are made by 血与钢, such as the crusader armor with cape, crusader kuyak with cape +++

what we need is chinese armors, it's always japan, japanese samurais and ninjas, getting a bit sick of this shit:

80% of the chinese people never use talesworld so they never got the chance to post anything on there, plus not many of them speak good english, talesworld don't have any osp chinese armors, but here is an huge osp chinese armors pack that was released 1 month ago made by 血与钢 :

Looks like it needs specular work.  Kinda has the covered in plastic wrap appearance to it.

Are you kidding me? More Plate armor? 20 odd variations of Plate armor isn't enough? But when someone suggests to add some armor belonging to a culture, that doesn't even have any armor ingame, you're against it?

Sorry, I misread your post, about the adding of the Chinese armor. Got the impression you were against it. Apologies. But how do you only count 3 Plate armor? I went through the shop, there's at least 20

Yeah, it's always that cliched Hollywood looking stuff as well, never something more Historical, especially when it comes to the Kabuto (The Kabuto always looks like that cliched Western depiction of a J.a.p.a.n.e.s.e. helmet, like something you would see in "James Clavell's Shogun", pretty conservative compared to most J.a.p.a.n.e.s.e. helmets) .

I didn't know the J.a.p.a.n.e.s.e. used chainmail as an armor in its own right, always thought it was just an undercoat for their Lamellar armor, to cover the gaps

I skipped MnB plate armor and the churburg ones

By plate armor I mean really proper things, not corrazina or transitionnal, that ammounts to 10, the 2 blacks and then plate armor (the actual item) and up
