New Japan armor

It's a much nicer model than the one we have from 2003.  If we're gonna keep Japanese armor in the game, that wouldn't be a bad revamp.

I dont think we need a new japan armor, but the model of the current one should be replaced with the one you posted, looks much better (i always thought that samurai armor just needs some love too look awesome  )
As for the chinese stuff i'd say it looks rly nice, adding some of them would be cool.

80% of the chinese people never use talesworld so they never got the chance to post anything on there, plus not many of them speak good english, talesworld don't have any osp chinese armors, but here is an huge osp chinese armors pack that was released 1 month ago made by 血与钢 :

recently if you check on clan page there few clans that is made for the chinese theme ...plus CRPG already have so many chinese weapons

the armors and weapons you saw it is a sub-mod made for 1257AD as an addon. The mod maker 血与钢 decided to put the models as OSP so any chinese mod makers can use it, if you go to that page again you will see he mention feel free to use all models


Do some research on Chinese's armors, that is exactly what they look like in those eras, i believe those armors were in the ming dynasty era but i could be wrong

Wow, those are actually really good. I actually haven't looked at the Chinese forums in a long time, and I can't believe I missed those. Those are Song dynasty (960-1279) era armors, and very much historically accurate for the most part.

If you're going to remove the samurai armor, remove it.

If you're going to keep it, then use a model that doesn't look like shit.  The model linked by the OP is a hell of a lot better looking than the one in the game now.

Saw samurai armor two weeks ago on warband nexus. Didn't make a thread for a reason...

On the other hand, chinese stuff looks cool. A lot of plates, could be useful to our mongolians (or Saracens ). I dig it. Looks realistic and would fit in cRPG.
