The Great Banner Purge

So, if this is the case would there be any chance of my being rewarded the banner slot I loopholed myself out of because of the code? I understand gold sinks and what not but 10% of my war chest for nothing is kind of discouraging.

So, I have a question about this...
Why are the banners removed for those reasons when I've seen much more from the official banners that's worse. I just find it unfair that our banner which was a duck and clearly standing for "Rhoduckia" was removed. It stood for our faction... It may have looked cartoonish, but what about the official ones? Semenstorms banner looks cartoonish, but is an official one. Noobs 4 Boobs has nothing to do with realism and most kids wouldn't find that a very good banner, and then there is one with a cat wearing a helmet, and a pig with many hands. So, I understand ones such as Elmo getting some "luvvy time" not a good banner, but why the Rhoduckians duck? It just doesn't make sense to me...

I would have asked on IRC, but this website is evil and IRC hides from me...

Also remember in middle ages they didn't have laser printers so when you making a banner make it with just few components (not complicated ones).

Either a forum for banner discussion is needed, so people can get an idea of what and what not to submit by looking at good examples. Or moderation is needed on submission. So if a banner is rejected upon submission the people can be told why with a quick message. Rather than having to seek out extended routes to discuss banners.
