Just happened to me yesterday on NA2

Bodies absorb hits now on EU1/2/3  :D
Best ban reason ever:

I checked, the only Vagabond I found was Wolves_Vagabond_TheCruel, that guy is now unbanned. Ban reason was: "calling Zotte a cockswoggler".

Teamkills not being punished are confusing new players. I bet that many of them quit after they get tked 4 times in a row. Priority of this mod should be gathering and keeping new players until they learn something. I'm not worried about veterans, they are already addicted and very few things will make them stop playing.

I actually have the M key bound to one of my spare mouse buttons for easy reporting (not a warband option, external software)

no mercy for team wounders

Completely disagree with everything.

What I'd like is decreased gold and exp income for those with over 33% reported teamhits. I hate my old friends who report every accidental teamhit. If you can't take some friendly swings, don't go fight in a group.

Ranged th on the other hand should always be auto-reported (and exempted from above 33% rule, of course), because there is no excuse for shooting into melee.

I'm sick of hearing people saying sorry. Their apologies won't bring me my HP back. Therefore:

1) Please make reporting automatic (honestly don't care will be abused or not, everyone already abuse everything they can in cRPG)
2) Make it based on HP taken from victim and combine it with reports based on hits

Every single hit should be reported as 1 out of 5. But hits that deal more than 30 damage should be 2 points, more than 60 damage auto kick and more than 100 damage (that's two peasants and extra hit) should be go take a chill pill brah or 1 hour ban.

This will remove the need for saying sorry and also will punish retards who spam mindlessly with their STR builds, killing poor newbies.
what complete BS. I think you need a brake from the game again.

I'm glad every single time someone says sorry when he hits, and I couldn't care less about my hp if the guy hit me appears to be friendly. And often teamhurts happen when there a funny/fail moments as well. Why do some of you take this so fucking serious? Is it fun?

btw, the only thing bothering me is that I only have 15 seconds to press M. I'd like to finish fighting, relax a bit and see if the teamhurter said sorry before deciding if I report him. And you could indeed lower the amounts of reports needed for kick. I never ever get more than 2 reports on a map, even with lags and bad playing. Oh, and another bad thing: Sometimes you get hit three times by one guy and then 1 time by another. If you press M only the last th is reported and the other guy is off the hook.

Some teamhits will always happen.

The game can and does lag sometimes (I get the occasional, say, one in 2-3 maps, lagspike where the computer is unresponsive for 5 seconds, if I'm on horse, well, fuck it, I'll trample someone in a random direction); people have best intentions to help a teammate sometimes, cavalrymen and archers esp., but a friendly moves in a totally unexpected direction and gets hit instead, and so on. Sometimes you try to help someone being gangbanged 5v1 and end up shooting the teammate in the head.

I would rather have horsemen help (if he does something totally atrocious/idiotic I'll press M), then allow some hero to kill half of the team. Even if it results in a friendly couch/trample/stab sometimes. Same with archers. Sure, a peasant who can't be accurate because game mechanics and stuff, I'll press M. If it's Bagge helping in a melee and I get shot, well, crap. I'll rather have Bagge shooting into melee then not shooting into melee.

If you think someone made an idiot move, you report, if it was a case of "shit happens", then no reason to report. I report maybe every 5h teamhit or so, myself, when someone was clearly making an error.

That said, it would not hurt to reduce the counter to, eg. 4 (or maybe even only 3). I would have to be on horse and very careless/drunk to get more then 3 reports. And increase the timer to 25 seconds. Since sometimes you're too busy to press M.

As I said, I don't care that much about teamhits if I'm playing in heavy armor (only when archers shoot me because they stun me and I hate those idiots who run over everyone with their chargers).

But if you're peasant, chances are high that you'll get teamkilled most of the time. That has to be stopped somehow.

Btw. I can be careless as well but you won't like that on my alt, because when I teamhit I knockdown as well

I honestly don't give a fuck will Cicero and the likes of him stop playing cRPG or not. But I'm worried that new players are discouraged to play cRPG because they either get killed by skill monsters or killed by their own teammates.

Playing more careful won't hurt you that much. But you won't play more careful if you aren't punished for careless play.

Teamhits happen its the nature of larger fights.  Hell sometimes people hit and don't even know about it, (backswings, over heads, ect.)  and if you don't like when people apologize for team hits that's kind of YOUR problem.

My problem is that, before we had this reporting system which isn't working at all, admins usually punished both intentional teamkillers but also those who's intention isn't obvious but they play not caring about their teammates. That's why I like Nuffen as admin, he used to kick/ban people who don't watch where they are riding for example.

Currently, admins aren't doing stuff like that anymore, partly because of reporting system.

Admins are biggest trolls in this game and they mainly use admin chat to troll each other.

For last 6 months, none of the EU admins deserve to be praised. Not a single one and there's more than 20 of them.

What if 2 consecutive hits allows you to report them? They're being overly careless and it isn't just an accidental tap.

In my experience, when I was a newbie and had a low generation, this report system didn't exist, and I never left the game because of team-hits or team-kills. In fact, I learnt how to avoid getting in other people's way and how to cancel attacks in time. If new players are leaving, it's not because of accidental team-kills (I don't even know whether they are truly leaving or not).
