Therefore i suggest, that only names from the holy bible should be allowed, as they are all pure and not offending.

I can't imagine anybody who would feel offended by a name like BRAVECUNT, especially in a game where you are dressed in blood permanently, you slash people overhead with 2h axes and trample peasants with plated chargers...

chadz was musing the idea of requiring a 20 word minimum back story to register new characters. I think he didn't because it wouldn't be fair without a full wipe (all the old characters w/o backstories, tsk tsk), but he can just add the requirement at the next log in, (like a captcha, but cooler). I feel bad for all the leet namers, it's gonna be tough I think.

Ok lets all bash the old guy for expecting a little decorum in this game oh and for those who have never heard that word it means a requirement of correct behaviour in polite society.
I know its a game involving killing and such but that doesnt mean we should lower ourselfs to childish launguage and boasting like "I know a more offensive swear word than you Hur Hur Hur".
Would you use the C word in the company of people you have just met? if the answers no why use it here? If the answer is yes then your parents should of brought you up better.

Sad to say but I have no expectation towards people's behaviour on Internet. Anonimity and freedom of speech give the right to the dullest of our teenagers to express their complexes and frustration in the open.

It's a video game on the net. Raging and insulting is endemic. "Cunt" is nowhere near the worst thing you'll hear. It's pretty naive to expect otherwise.
I don't think it has anything to do with boasting about knowing bad words. I've called people "fuckers", "cunts", "assholes", "my old friends", etc... and been called the same. If anything I do it more with people I've known for a while than random strangers. If it's so offensive to you, there's always the mute key.

Since when is this a game for kids? the original game is rated 16/teen and this is a mod so it is surely it can be whatever the hell it wants to be and nowhere did I ever get the impression it wanted to be for kids.
