Swear words in names

Hate to be picky but I thought swear words were not allowed in names. I saw one today called BraveC**t, really this shouldnt be allowed as kids play this game and the C word is offensive to women.
Cheers.
Oh and I brought it up in the game to the replie I have seen worse, well I have not.

Personally i dont care whats in names :)
the games a 16 so the fact that children play it is their
parents fault why should we cater for them im 15 and
it dosent bother me seems like a needless thing to add to a list
of rules and regulations however saying that its not that hard to regulate

I think as long as it's not racial/hate speech it shouldn't matter. It's a game about stabbing people to death with swords; so I think the user base can handle some naughty words.

All this talk about children :)

When someone say "Think about the children!", i always try to think of myself in their age and i am 28 now... Well... I heard most of the "bad" words and could use them in a sentence by the age of 7. And i am pretty sure the western world did not become puritan since 80's :) I had literally no chance of hearing any inappropriate language from any media source back then... Yet it did not help.

So i am pretty sure, that if a child in 2011 see or hear some bad language in cRPG - it will not suffer a life-long scar on its gentle soul, burst into tears and hide under the bed, or get a permanent brain damage...

Personally, i prefer to play with "Tom Jenkins", "Abasi Tarak" or "Chin Jin", rather then with "asdbsdf1234", "asshole_terminator" etc.

EDIT: And to all women who are offended by "C-word": Go fix me a sandwich! And vacuum-clean the floor on your way.

It doesn't bother me any. I heard every bad word and saw about everything there is by the time I was 8. The people with really offensive names just make it easier for me to see who is an immature moron who thinks they are a comedy superstar.

I believe that many names are very offensive

Therefore i suggest, that only names from the holy bible should be allowed, as they are all pure and not offending.

Which Holy Bible?

I love arguments like this. Are people really concerned about swearing when you are playing a game where the objective is to kill, slaughter, and maim other players?

Well, the british for one time had arranged breaks for tea time in battles, and rules that only an officer was allowed to shoot another officer on purpose.

Additionally, the modern US military for example has an official (but oft ignored) regulation that forbids the use of profanity.
