Seems to me that these +3 items sold for 600k gold are actually sold for 600k gold + 1 heirloom point.

Yeah, I think this might be an issue. I also saw a few +3 items on auctions the last days and believe they went for less money then normal trades.

Bear in mind that a fair number of trades nowadays are up with an accompanying requirement of an heirloom point.

I doubt that graph is taking into account the price of the heirloom points, given the liquidity of that asset.

The tax is bad as you don't see how much you have to pay for real. I bought a +2 a few days ago and was surprised to pay the tax. It's written nowhere that you have to pay tax

Not for me.
The items i bought on the market did exactly cost the price which was labelled. No additional taxes.

Oh wait: In the market message in my archive it is written "The 5% fee of 44900 gold was paid by you.". Seems like I misunderstood that. The transaction is a bit confusing. I thought by "you" it meant me.

It comes out of the sellers cut. So if you buy an item for 100k, the seller only receives 95,000 gold.

We should be trying to make the market More active, not less active.

Taxes have made it less active.

This, nobody is trading looms for gold anymore, the market is a mess and only semi-functional. Just to punish a few arbitragers all volume has been obliterated.

So what if people were making money buying low and selling a bit higher?? this is just abritraging, and maybe they make money but they are important to increasing volume and and just moving prices to equilibrium. There's a reason real world markets are fine with these sort of operators.

Check rank 2 and especially rank 3 prices.. There's been just one rank3 sale in past 11 days.

selling doesn't pay off. Admins take you min 80k gold, and with selling +3 item you can only buy 2 loompoints. So it is total bullshit to sell ur stuff.

Yep, you can no longer sell your +3, then hold gold until something you like comes along. Say goodbye to 150k-200k just to do that innocent activity and trying to trade efficiently by taking advantage of a currency and liquid market.

Now the market is completely obscured, and we are back to pre-currency economic age of spamming forums and messages, putting up 10 offers for an item every week to try and arrange barter trades.

QUICK, BLAME THE MARKET TAX

(even though being forced to barter if you want every penny of your trades is bad, so is inflation)
