I'm not sure which genius did it but lat Bec nerf from 37 to 34 pierce was totally uncalled for. You see, Bec is utter shit of an expensive weapon.
It's short, really, really short. It has stupid hitbox, left swing of Bec is the useless left swing of all polearms (which already have bad left swing). Thrust is very situational like Shortened Millitary Scythe thrust, it's not even fast, extemely short, almost useless. Right swing is good but still short. Overhead is decent.
What was good about this weapon?
Well, once it had CT, then it was removed, stats nerfed from 42 pierce (I think) to 39 or so. Then further nerf to 37 or 36 pierce where Bec became just good weapon. Now it has 34 peierce damage on swings and 26 pierce on thrust and it's not a bad weapon but it's one of the worse choices, especiialy for its price.
Bring it back to 37 pierce swing, 28 pierce thrust.
About Bec's price:
Long Bardiche, weapon I've "discovered" as OP almost a year ago, costs less than 7k gold. Long Bardiche wasn't nerfed probably because Leshma said it's OP and devs and everyone else are on autopilot whenever Leshma says something (look it's that idiot again - ignore or do completely oposite).
Long Bardiche is basically a poleaxe for half its price, with a crappy stab but a lot better swing. It's WAY better than Bec.
Not just Long Bardiche is a lot better than Bec, most polearms are!
So, forget silly NA legends about Goretooth and his might Bec and make this weapon useful in battle once more.
Only thing it had was high damage, now it has nothing.
Actually I forgot, you can use it on horseback..
