Finally another follower of Science!

I've always played as Vanu even in beta, tried out both other Factions and have a Terran alt on another server but I'm not a big fan of Terran guns, NC guns are nice but the Faction itself is pretty lame. Vanu is by far my favourite. I'm also pretty good in the Scythe using the Hailstorm Turbo Laser and Dual Photon Pods. Alot of enemy fighters I kill attack me first when I'm strafing with my rocket pods, I turn sharp to one side and keep turning and turning, I eventually out turn them and end up behind them, then I tear them apart with my turbo lasers, gives me a warm feeling inside knowing the guy is probably like "FUCKING BULLSHIT".

hehe, checked it, played 59 hours since the release

But meh, you didn´t answer my question, where do I find the prices and detailed information about the things :(

Yes you must buy C4 like grenades and is more expensive than grenades, C4 also seems very reliant on certain situations. If you are defending against alot of enemies it'll prove useful to place, hide and watch, then detonate as a group of enemies step near it, also if you're good at running and gunning you'll probably find it's decent for placing on enemy veichles.

But I enjoy using Proximity mines and Anti-tank mines , you can drop them and forget about them, maybe not as devastating but highly effective and doesn't need any of your attention once placed, so if medics only option is C4 I'd say start certing a veichle. I myself am certing both Engineer and the Scythe. I think C4 most likely takes up your utlity slot too, never played Medic so I don't know what you'll have to replace to use the C4.

Start certing into one of the vehicles as well, if you're finished with medic. Always comes in handy if you want to roll over someone with stuff like rocket pods or tanks

Yep, it´s the utility slot, which is still free for me :)

And yeah, maybe I´m not good at running and gunning, but definitely good and running, hiding and healing myself and squadmembers, then go out and fight again. So maybe C4 is a good choice, but how expensive it it?

I mean Grenades are 45, is C-4 double, or triple cost?

Well my Proximity mines cost me like 75 infantry resource I think, so I would guess somewhere around there if not the same.

I acctually didnt get the appeal of this game at first glance...
Aint half-bad game afterall, but still, I dont get the massive popularity behind it. Seems like everything that other games have done before.

This was my first impression as well. I gave it another shot and played with a 3-4 other friends in a squad and such and it was pretty fun. Has the same progression/stat appeal as BF3 but the fighting is persistent and on a large scale, not to mention it's FREE and you don't have to buy retarded expansions. Just finished up my first real time playing it longer than 5 minutes and I rolled Infiltrator (NC) for like an hour and got BR5 46 kills 20 deaths trolol.

When I see people that look like that, I can't help but to feel sorry for the probable parents or grandparents that got robbed to buy a skull mask in a video game  It's true the Vanu are waaaaay less subject to this phenomena than the NC though and given the factions background and appeal, that isn't surprising at all.

K/d doesn't mean shit in this game, and by extension, score doesn't either. I've not been very useful today and I got more certs than yesterday, yet I captured like 10 points yesterday, usually with only a handful of people. Setting up a mana turret inside a biolab spawn litterally got me 15 free kills or something.

Nah of course KD doesn't matter much. It was more of a personal achievement, although I did hope I would go up to 100/1. The fault lies in the game as well, they should increase the rewards for capping bases and we'll actually see more people PTFO. Right now, if you want the maximum certs per hour, your best bet is to grind lemmings in biolabs or somewhere else. They need to make capturing bases give more xp, so it is worth more cert-wise than killing infantry over and over.

Lol, except that I'm 26, have a job and a son of my own who no doubt will be asking me to buy him items in games in over a decade . The actual Station Credits I used to buy my stuff I got when I bought the Alpha Squad package during Beta. I'll probably also get a few more Station Credits to buy more weapons in the future ( and maybe to make some of my other classes look cooler than yours  ), there's no way I'm saving up 700+ certs to buy one weapon lol, I just don't have the time or the patience and Sony knows this, which is how they'll make money from me on top of Premium, lol.
