Flying is really easy, after a couple of tries you should get the feeling for it. Especially with the little ones you can do fucking awesome maneuvers. After i maxed my medic i will probably go for the mosquito and go nuts with it.

Flying was so easy after let's say, fighting people with 200 jet service stars on Battlefield 3.

Holy fuck, dogfighting in BF3 was so boring. I like it here a lot more, even though those AA missile spammers have it really easy (dont have flares yet). I'm having no problems flying, but I've got quite some pilot experience from BF3 :D

I hate BF3 PC jet controls as much as I loved those of BF2.


I mean, continuously moving the mouse just to roll and pitch ? WHAT THE FUCK, EA ?


I like using the fighters in PS2 a lot. I haven't mastered quickly spawning and landing liberators and galaxies though, far from it.

PS3.

That's why I played jets with my PS3 controller for a while, but it was not optimal.

Btw if you send me squad invites and I refuse, it probably means I'm playing with a friend.

Last night on Waterson we had a bunch of KUTTs playing (We dont have an outfit yet though) and we were by the Tamrech Tech Plant (probably spelled the name wrong)0 and literally TR had about 15-20 Liberators fly right over our heads. They were all in formation (as much of a formation as you can get with them) and it was scary as balls. They didn't attack us though, looks like they were intent on taking a different path.

Aint half-bad game afterall, but still, I dont get the massive popularity behind it. Seems like everything that other games have done before. Exept the massive world/continental battles, which I think someone should seriuslly make for Warband, cause than I would litterally cry out of joy and sell my phone, cause I wont be calling anybody for a year. But is it just me? Mybe pewpew games arent something I should really judge.

I just started playing last night and had the same thought, if Taleworlds does a multiplayer campaign with their Bannerlords (heh) game I hope it's similar to Planetside 2.

It's really good for a free game and the night battles were especially awesome.  I was playing on a desert map and some people formed a big line of lightning tanks and were firing volleys in unison at night.  :P   I think they could use a little more variety in terrain though.  Maybe large cities for urban fighting, some flat plains, trench lines, etc.

I agree Knute, my biggest complaint is that they need to add more variety in architecture. Right now they have about 15-20 buildings prefabbed and they just use those everywhere.

Important message to all members of Calradian RePublican Guard

We're starting to see a decent sized squad every day on Planetside 2 now. We're usually over 10 people in squad, with the outfit almost at 50 members, which is awesome.

But.. there is a problem with the communication (teamspeak channel) we use. I have been approached by a few members because of this already and I feel the same way. There's a LOT of talk going on in the channel. Now there is nothing wrong with random chatting, but when we try to do serious squadding, it seriously hurts our performance. Anyone who led a squad so far has surely experienced people talking over him with useless comments. I know it made leading a pain for me and I've seen it happen when others lead (or at least tried to).

In spite of this, we decided to make two subchannels for CRPG TS channel:
- Casual play
- Squad play

Casual play
No specific rules will be enforced here, play and talk freely as you did before when there was only one channel. Please do mind the manners, so if someone is speaking let him finish speaking before you start.

Squad play
The Squad play channel will be used when we'll be doing serious squad stuff and teamwork. This channel has a strict ruleset that everyone needs to follow. The rules are:

- Platoon and Squad leaders have the absolute priority to speak, they should not be interrupted in any case when they are speaking and/or giving out orders
- Only relevant chat that contributes the squad. Do not talk about how you got driven over by a friendly tank, how you owned somebody or how a sniper oneshotted you. This is not relevant and is hurting squad communication. Reporting where the enemies are is relevant though, for example.
- When you have something important to say, make sure you let the Platoon or Squad leader finish talking first and be concise
- Other than that, be silent and follow orders
- Not following these rules might result in a mute

We believe such rules are needed for the squad to work properly. The platoon and squad leaders need to be heard by everybody at any time. The channel needs to be silent if something important happens that needs to be reported immediately. This cannot be done with 3+ people talking about random stuff or commenting everything that happens to them all the time.
When we're ready to do serious squadding, meaning being in a squad and actually trying to working together as a team, we'll move to the Squad play channel. There will of course be casual squadding as well, so when we're not doing serious squad action, all are welcome to use the Casual channel, where you can speak to your heart's content, of course minding your manners and not talking over others.

We kindly ask you all to follow these rules so we can all have a good time playing. If you have any concerns regarding this or any other matter, feel free to PM me.

Really good game i can just advide everyone to try it its free anyway.

It has some really nice teamplay and in-game voice chat.
perfect for teamplaying witha big amount of players. And thats how it mostly is in squads.

Yes, embarassing for your Faction friend, I killed him so he went and got a MAX suit to come kill me, he lost the fight, we were about 15ft away from eachother at most and I had only a few small posts to jump behind as I reloaded, all I had was my Carbine and I wasted him, LOL. ( The BR part of what I said was just more trolling, it obviously doesn't mean shit but it seems to get people butthurt lol ).
