login**Special thanks to the native Nations cup admins for allowing us to use most of their resources**
This summer, Byzantium clan, with the help of NDitions community are glad to present to you the first cRPG NATIONS CUP!
Players from all over the world will join forces to battle alongside their countrymen and hopefully be the winning nation.
We will be mainly following the guidelines of the successful native Nations Cup, with some variances.
The tournament will have 2 phases: a group phase followed by a knockout phase. The details of brackets and such will be outlined closer towards the start of the tournament.
To become the captain of your nations team, it is very simple. Apply
Here If there is more than one application, the aspiring concerned nation captains will get to vote for their captain internally.
The elected captain can then, start forming his team and players can apply for their nation by posting an application in their Nations topic (Link will be displayed once the captains are designated)
Soon, we'll also be opening admin/referee applications. If you wish to help us, we'd be extremely grateful, you can apply

Allowed Maps
Team Regulations / Team information-Apply
Here if you wish to become your nations captain, applications will end on the
X.
-Teams must be made up of players from one nation, where possible. In extenuating circumstances, where a nation is having trouble finding enough players, on its own, the captain should approach an event admin about merging with another nation.
-Teams must be composed of 10 players and 6 substitutes.
-Teams will have to be set up by the
X. Then, untill the X we'll sort out any team merging.
-Initial roster (16 players) can be modified if the admins are notified 3 days before every match.
-Player applications will start once the captain is elected and can be made in the recruitment thread of the nation concerned (
link).
Overall Tournament Rules-The Nations Cup will be a knockout tournament with group stages to determine which teams participate in the knockout phase, no second chances. The schedule will be posted, after the sign up phase.
-Before the knockout stage, teams will be split into X groups determined on how many teams sign up. Each team will qualify for the knockout round, with their positions in the knockout stage being seeded by their performance in the group stage. Draws during the knockout phase are decided by play-off matches.
-The winners of the tournament will be the team that progresses to the Grand Final, and triumphs over their opponents
-In the group stage, teams will be awarded 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and no points for a loss.
-If, during the group stages, teams have the same amount of points in the end, well look at the total amount of rounds won/lost.
-Event admins will have the final say.
-Any suspected breach of the Team Regulations, Tournament or Match Rules should be met with immediate confrontation and should be reported to an event admin as soon as possible, preferably by your team representative.
-Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse, either. Don't try it.
-Maps will be decided before the start of the tournament
Match Specific Rules-Matches will only be played on EU servers.
-Servers will be appointed by the organising team.
-The server will be passworded and captains will be informed of the password before hands. this is mainly to prevent any server saturation so that disconnected players can rejoin easily.
-Battle mode
-10v10 with 6 substitutes/ More players on both sides if Nations agree on.
-round time: 6 minutes
-16 rounds; 2 maps; spawn switch at 4 rounds.
-Friendly fire: 100%
-Spectator Settings: TBD
-Rounds resulting in a draw will not be replayed, and no points will be awarded to either team for the round.
-Matches will be 10 a side (more if both teams agree), with class or equipment restrictions (see Item restrictions section)
-The winner will be the team with the most rounds won, at the end of the match.
-Substitutes are allowed before every new spawn. If by any means you miss out on a swap, your team will have to deal with it, round will go on.
-Unless team captains decide otherwise, team 1 will always start at spawn 1 on the first map and and spawn 2 on the second map and vice versa for team 2.
-In the event of an overall draw in the knockout phase, the match will go to a tie-breaker. Here more rounds are played in sequence until one team is ahead by two (2) rounds. First Team 1 plays at spawn 1 the first map, then Team 1 plays at spawn 2 on the first map, then Team 1 plays at spawn 1 on the second map, then Team 1 plays at spawn 2 on the second map.
-Team captains are advised to install the banner pack and have their team wear their national colours. No name change requested, as wed like to see your clan tag. Though dont change your characters name from the moment youve been put in a roster to avoid miscomprehension.
-Each map must be reset, after 4 rounds, when the teams switch spawns.
-At least one referee has to attend the match.
-If a team cannot make 10 players, at the agreed match time, they must play on regardless.
-A break between maps can be requested, if so, the other team must let them have it. This break is allowed to continue for five minutes, if it extends past this, the team that asked for the break will lose by forfeit. Any break longer than five minutes can be settled by the two team captains.
-No break is allowed at spawn switch.
-Team captains have to post screens -in the match result thread(Link)- of the results of each map before any spawn switch, meaning 4 screens if all went well.
-During group phase all rounds will have to be played, because we'll need to look at your rounds won/lost ratio in the event of equal points at the start of the knockout phase. During knockout phase, the winning team can decide not to finish all rounds if they already won.
